Perfect Cup Every Time!
I purchased this as a replacement for the BLACK+DECKER DCM18 Brew ‘n Go Personal Coffeemaker with Travel Mug, which is no longer available. Iâm really impressed! It brews a perfect cup of coffee every time, and the price is unbeatable. I removed the filter basket and use a #2 recycled cone filter, which filters the coffee faster than the white ones. One person mentioned that the first cup had a plastic taste, but I fixed this by brewing a mixture of 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup water, followed by brewing plain water two more times. I’m very satisfied with this coffee maker; it takes up less space than the Black+Decker.This coffee maker is designed for convenience and efficiency, making it ideal for those who enjoy a quick cup of coffee without the hassle of larger machines. Its compact size allows it to fit easily in small kitchens, dorm rooms, or even offices. This coffee maker lets us start our day on the road and on a visit.
We bought this coffee maker to take with us when we visit our kids and grandkids. My husband likes to get up really early and have a cup all by himself before everyone else gets up. It makes two smaller mugs of coffee and keeps one warm in the thermal mug. We have our full-size coffee maker at home, but this quiet, quick little coffee pot is not only cute, but also delivers a nice cup of coffee. We did follow directions to make two water run-throughs before we used it, and this seemed to work on the smell others reported. We also used trimmed paper coffee filters to keep things easy, and we feel this makes a better cup of coffee and lets us dump the grounds more efficiently. This coffee pot worked well for us in our travels. We also like the green color. We do wish it had a travel bag.

Good single cup coffee maker.
Trying to reduce my coffee consumption so I got this to make one large cup at a time instead my old maker that made two cups at a time. It’s a good maker and I’m not disappointed.Cons: it isn’t as efficient as my old (larger) maker using 3-4T of grounds when the old one made twice the coffee from 4T of grounds, with the lid on the cup while brewing it will overflow the lid because coffee brews faster than it flows through the lid (I brew into the cup without the lid on to fix this), and it does not keep the coffee in the cup warm for long (there’s no hot plate.)Pros: makes a great cup of coffee, reusable filter is easy to clean, cup is good, and maker is very small so it doesn’t use a lot of counter space.

This is the fastest and easiest way to make my coffee when Iâm on my way out in the morning.Great price and the purple is so pretty, it came with a tumbler also, so l can just grab it and head out the door! Definitely would recommend you buy this. âï¸ (Easy cleanup as well)

Just got my mini coffee maker and it works great. The coffee is hot. Easy to operate and clean. It makes the perfect amount for a single person. I use my thermal travel cup as a coffee carafe and pour from there.

On / off switch issues
Pros: the silver , grey & white is a great color combination. I like the neutral colors. It is much easier to see how much water there is and any potential issues with this color combination. I like the on button being on the side and no additional buttons. I like the simplicity of this coffee makerCons: I should have read the other reviews about the button not working correctly. I had the same issue. I was able to turn the button on once while cleaning the machine prior to use. The second time cleaning the machine the on button would not work at all. Prior to the second cleaning I made sure that machine was cooled down. Unplugged it and waited at least 10 minutes. Same issue the machine would not turn on, even after following all the instructions. The machine is defective so I sent it back.The plastic is a not that that thick. Unfortunately I have noticed this awful quality with at least 2 similar 1 cup coffee makers I have purchased under $30. It’s not just this brand. Quality in many brands is not as good as it used to be.Initially I was going to take a chance and order another 1 cup coffee maker in the exact same color combination in hopes the on button was just a rare defect. However I decided not to instead I purchased a 1 cup coffee maker that was over $40. It’s not as simple and has a few glitches yet the water is hotter and it’s a better quality coffee maker.I m hoping that the on button switch on this moddle of coffee maker could be upgraded to something better that actually works. A new and improved switch. If a new and improved model comes out I d take a chance and purchase this coffee maker again. I did like almost everything about it. Except the switch.

Mug is terrible
Mug is terrible, bottom started to fall off in a few weeks. Coffee maker itself seem good, coffee is hot and brewed in a reasonable amount of time

I absolutely love my new coffee maker with matching mug. The filter is so easy to clean too. I first let the grains cool down then tap the bottom and let the grains drop into paper bag for compost. Then I just rinse the filter with hot water. Comes out clean. Then I rinse the filter holder too in hot water. That’s it. So easy once you do the first two run through with vinegar water then just cold water. The other thing I love is the click it makes when you press the button. Makes things easier for me since I am completely blind. Makes a perfect mug of coffee. I would highly recommend this to my friends. Btw you need to let the maker completely cool down, takes about 5 minutes. If you try to make a second cup right away, the machine will not click on until completely cool down. Love that feature too.

I read the reviews before buying. The one that stood out was the one that said if you follow the directions the coffee make works great…gee, ya think? I love this little machine. Sure it’s plastic and very light weight but it also does exactly what I need it to do and it’s compact and sits out of the way on the counter. It brews a good cup of coffee quickly. I grind my own beans and I experimented with the first few cups to know just how much coffee to put in for the size of cup it comes with (2tbls). I haven’t had any grounds in the bottom of the cup thus far so the filter basket its just fine. I’m a one coffee per day person and this is absolutely perfect for me.
