How to prevent children from overriding your phone.
I bought this receptacle so that I could control the grandchildrenâs use of my TV while I was out working on the farm. It worked great, except there are two little buttons that allowed the grandchildren to override my phone. I cut a piece off of a bread tie and super glued it over the buttons and now it works great again. See the attached picture.

This is exactly what I was looking for to control my living room lamp. The only thing keeping me from putting 5 stars is that the wall plate wouldn’t go attach so I ended up using a regular wall plate.

This is my favorite smart outlet to put in a living room, office, or bedroom. Anywhere that a USB outlet would be useful. I have Kasa outlets on my more general outlets like in my kitchen or away from couches or desks, but this thing you can set up in minutes, link to smartthings and smartlife and then alexa in no time flat. I didnât time myself but I want to says I installed and linked 5 of these things in 30 mins.

This thing is awesome! I am able to make sure my son doesn’t leave all his lights and his TV on at night. Saves a bunch on electricity when you can set the times the outlet can be on and off.

Installed the last of 6 and they’re functioning perfectly.
I wanted the USB ports to allow me to turn on/off my new under cabinet led lights with a schedule and these are working perfectly with Alexa. Being able to turn on/off the individual sockets is also very helpful as I purchased a small coffee pod maker and the instructions say to unplug it after each use. Knowing that it’s an unknown brand (but the perfect size/color for my new coffee station) I decided that it’s a good idea to heed the instructions, thus the ability to to set a “make me a cup of coffee” routine in Alexa to turn on the pot plug and automatically turn off after the 5 minutes. I’ve had power cycled as my hubby was installing them a few on different days and the wifi connection comes right back up with no issues after power cycled.

Esta placa puede operar de forma independiente tanto las tomas de baja tensión eléctrica como el perro de alimentación USB. Manualmente se puede apagar cualquiera de las dos tomas. Trabaja muy bien con Alexa y se puede utilizar con rutinas ya sea para temporizadores o para ventanas de tiempo.

Buena calidad en sus materiales fácil de instalar aunque si su caja o chalupa está muy ensima de la pared no cabra con los cables yo en lo personal use una caja universal para instalarlo sobre la chalupa ya que como el contacto tiene diferentes medidas de profundidad no cabe en mis chalupas pero si usted tiene profunda la caja o chalupa como le llamen si entrara perfectamente la instalación es fácil solo aflojar y apretar tornillos la conexión a internet fácil y sin problema no requiere de mucho para conectar a internet ….como observación y espero les sirva cuando se va la luz se apaga el aparato conectado si es que estaba en uso y cuando regresa la energÃa el contacto estará prendido pero sin energizar el aparato y si no te das cuenta atiempo y lo enciendes nuevamente se quedará apagado tu aparato conectado pero el contacto si tendrá energÃa ya sea para controlarlo por wifi o manual gracias

Buen producto y fácil de utilizar.Su instalación es básica como cualquier otro contacto.Su configuración fue simple y sin detalles… solo es bajar la appa de Tuya o Smart Life y de volada encuentra el dispositivo y lo agregas a tu red.Se puede manipular vÃa la app o Home Assistant los 3 elementos, los 2 contactos de clavija + el contacto USB.
