Best monitor ever!!!!
I had the older version of this monitor for about two yearsâ it was pretty faulty towards the end, seems to have been discontinued, and I have now upgraded to this version and I am beyond pleased. My only requirement was no WiFi connection monitor and this one is by far the best Iâve had. (I also had the owlet, older version of this model, and v-tech) the video quality is phenomenal and you can tell the product itself is made of great quality. I love the large screen and will be using this monitor for my next child. SO worth it. Easy to use, secure and accurate.

Best Baby Monitor
In the past I had purchased a baby monitor in the past and I was quite disappointed as it stopped working after only having for 3 months. I was in the market looking for a new one and ran across the Momcozy Baby Monitor. I am so happy I bought this monitor. The quality of video is by far the best I have seen. It is a super easy set up and comes with everything you need to install the camera including wall mount. It took me all of 20 minutes total to set up in my babies room. It also has music you can play through it if your baby is sleeping as well as a speaker to talk to your baby. The camera and monitor also feels like a higher quality than I had expected from baby monitors. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase!

Re-writing my review after 6 months of usage. Still recommended, though I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. Baby monitors continue to be a frustrating product space, with mixed reviews on nearly every brand and unit. $30 wifi cameras will give better picture quality than a $200 baby monitor. I scoured the internet for reviews, and found very few unbiased and in-depth ones, yet many sponsored / influencer reviews. (For what it’s worth Momcozy also seems to use influencer marketing).Things we like:1. High resolution display – the image is crisp and clear. Many other cameras are 720p only. This one has a 1080p camera AND display. It means the digital zoom doesn’t work quite as well (it gets a bit pixelated) but that tradeoff is fine for us.2. Audio quality – Audio is clear, and the VOX feature (transmitting your voice through the camera) works very well.3. USB-C charging – love this. No more hunting for that proprietary charger. We can use the same cable as our phone and laptops. Battery life has been sufficient too.4. Night vision (mostly) – the night vision LEDs illuminate the area well (invisible to the naked eye, only seen by the camera), but are slightly misaligned on our unit. So the “bright spot” is not in the center of the camera view.5. Menu / software – Interface is responsive and decently modern, especially compared to some other brands.6. Tilt / pan feature – The camera movements are responsive and accurate with a wide range of motion.Things we dislike:1. The range is average and the signal randomly cuts out. Our bedroom usually has 3 bars of strength, but will randomly disconnect during the night, leading to the screen illuminating and a loud beeping alarm notification. It restores after a few seconds on its own, but we have no idea why this happens and there’s no fold-out antenna to improve the range. Very frustrating.2. Plastic-y build and flimsy kickstand. Display units from many other brands are designed to stand upright. This one is not, and instead has a flimsy kickstand that folds out. It’s not very stable and I suspect it will break off one of these days.3. Screen sleep behavior. The unit will ‘sleep’ according to a timer, which turns off the screen and audio (both are then automatically re-enabled when it hears a loud sound). But there doesn’t seem to sleep the unit manually. You turn off the screen by tapping the power button, but this doesn’t turn off the audio (and will remain on forever). So the only option is to wait for the timer to shut both off. This can feel like an eternity in the middle of the night.Overall, would I buy it again? Probably. Though I’d probably take a look at the competition again first.

2025 decrease in quality
Not as good in 2025! TLDR: I just got a new one to upgrade my old monitor screen and it SUCKS. I would not buy this monitor again.I bought my monitor with two cameras in 2023. I loved this monitor, recommended it to all my friends who were having babies, and bought one for my in-laws house.In 2024, I gave my second camera to my parents for the crib at their house and we would take the monitor screen back and forth when she was there.Fast forward to 2025, my parents want their own screen and I saw the price had gone down, so we bought another set.I kept the new monitor because my old one was starting to get a low battery alert if my daughter would sleep in.Just used it for the first time last night and the new one is horrible! Im going to have my parents give me the old one back.New (bad) things on the 2025:-makes a loud CLICK whenever it turns on or off (cannot be turned off in setting)-has a huge screen lag! When turning on it loads a black screen for a good 5-10 seconds before finally showing the picture.-it makes the loud click (I think) when baby makes a noise, but not one loud enough to trigger the camera, but the lights that indicate a sound donât light up so you wake up to random clicks throughout the night (also, my sound sensitivity has been set to medium for the last year, so I set it to medium on this one too)

Almost perfect..
I want to love this baby monitor, it has all the features Iâm looking for. Clear video quality, wide angle and 2x zoom, seems like a very solid build and I think itâs worth the higher price tag compared to cheaper options out there, itâs almost perfect.. but the issue Iâm having is that the volume level is very low, even though I have it turned all the way up to the highest volume setting. Now this may be just the unit I received since Iâve read other reviews and donât see anyone else complaining about this, but Iâve tried cheaper monitors that have very good sound and I donât have to worry about not hearing my baby when she wakes up. For me the sound level is just as important as the video quality and I may have to return this and keep searching for that perfect baby monitor..

Wanted to like this monitor after all the positive reviews but itâs basically impossible for the monitor to be hands free as it takes over 24 hours to get even one charging bar and dies so quickly. Unless you are able to sit in the same spot with it plugged in while your baby sleeps, this monitor is not for you.

Against what other reviews say the night vision is absolutely terrible. It is so grainy I could not see the baby clearly no matter what position I had the camera or what the light level was. The 4x zoom is subpar and makes the picture worse.The monitor battery lasted just under 3 hours. The range is good for about 80-90′ before it disconnects. The camera movement is slow and jerky.There are much better cameras for the price range.

This is the best monitor I’ve bought so far and I’ve bought and returned many. I like that there’s a volume button and you don’t have to go through the menu. I also like that there’s a volume option for the camera in the room (I just wish the music volume could go down lower as I’ve had to cover it bc it’s too loud on lowest setting for sleep). I like that it can pan almost the entire room as well as pan down so you don’t have to worry about the height your camera is at. Another plus is it has a seperate button for lullabies which makes it quick and easy to turn on. I like the overall design of it and it has a nice kickstand so it doesn’t tip over easy. I bought a second camera and I like that I can view screens either seperate or side by side. The picture is very clear except when zooming.If I could perfect it I would turn the volume down on the speaker for the music, add more actual lullabies that are settling instead of kinda upbeat songs, and the front of the camera by the lens gets very hot. Idk if this is just mine or what but a lil unsafe I think. Other than that it’s been my best option
