I’m Impressed!
I bought these for my garage and found them under the amazon resale section for $135 after taxes. I wasn’t expecting much from these but man was i surprised when I hooked them up to my old Yamaha HTR-5660. These sound crisp and clean they do have some hefty weight to them too. The speaker themselves are a little smaller than 3″ and they all have a port on the back. The center speaker has the same speaker and tweeter just a bigger box and an extra port. The subwoofer is dual channel and powered with adjustable low pass filter from 40Hz to 150Hz. It has a 0* to 180* phase selector.The subwoofer came a little banged up and so did some of the speakers but I blame Amazon’s terrible shipping as they just stuffed everything in a box and put a piece of bubble wrap in there. As others said this doesn’t come with wire and the RCA cable is about 2′ long so just be ready to buy some additional wire and cables.Overall I’m happy with the purchase. I think these are worth the full price if they don’t come all beat up but like I said they will be used in the garage so not a deal breaker for me.

please ship with a splitter to attached the sub Woofer
speakers look great will set up tomorrowone problem is the sub woofer shipped with a useless RCA cable. It should have had a splitter instead of 4 male ends.Not sure what that suppose to be used for.

GREAT 5.1 theater system
Bought this speaker system to replace an OLD Sony theater-in-a-box system. I have a complete dedicated Home Theater (75″ Sony LED TV, 200 watt Yamaha, Energy 5.1 speakers, etc.), but needed something decent for the family room. I paired the system with a low end Denon recover and a Sony 65″ LED TV. Holy Smokes do these speakers sound good. Music – I used the multi-channel stereo sound option and listened to a few smooth Jazz tracks by Michael Franks and Keiko Matsui. Clean sharp highs, crisp vocals and solid bass. Very good stereo separation. Then I switched to movies. I watched the Transformers with the scenes from the pyramids in Egypt. It rocked the whole room. The 5.1 sound was good with plenty of dialogue from the center and good spatial sound from the satellites. This speaker system is well worth the $$$ and could easily command a much higher price. Highly recommended.
