Highly active party lights
This is an excellent lighting system for so many different occasions! It has many rotating functions to choose from, with a high energy party feeling when it’s in motion. You can control it with the included remote control, as well as plugging it into your DJ equipment for an even more enhanced effect. It’s light in weight and easy to mount above with its attached bracket. The light eyes move with ease and sound really smooth when doing so. It’s a lot of fun to watch and definitely provides visual excitement! Whether you’re a professional disc jockey or just someone that enjoys providing entertainment at parties, this is a must have to keep your guests moving on the dance floor. I’m very pleased with it so far, and definitely recommend it for all of its functionality!

A great DJ light with a lot of features
This DJ light has a lot of fun features and is very bright! I love the built in functions and the spinning mechanism that can constantly rotate. It can flash to the beat with the built-in sound feature.It’s fairly heavy, which hopefully is a sign that it’s sturdy and built from strong materials. I do wish it offered some additional colors, however for the price, it’s a good value as is.The remote control is useful, especially if you decide to place this somewhere up high or in a difficult to reach location.

A GREAT light for a house party.
This little whirling dervish is really fun to watch! In automatic mode, you get to see a wide variety of special features as if spins, whirlys and throws beams all over the place…. Then the BRIGHT strobe comes on, then that GOLDEN strobe… and wow… RED lasers GREEN lasers… so much light! This isn’t a party light, this light IS the party..But then reality sets in.. It IS a party light. Not ruggedly built, not really roadworthy for rock and roll shows… it’s plastic, and not the good kind that they make power tools from. It’s more fragile than that.SURE you can use it for a club install, hung up out of harms way, it’s DMX controllable and is super capable when controlled that way. Just don’t use it on a tour and you’ll have fun with it. The beams are REALLY great when used with fog or haze.But lets talk about the lasers. The red one isn’t very bright, and the green one is even less so. They are fine for your living room at a party, but in a larger venue I wouldn’t expect much out of them. The green laser is difficult to see even with haze and fog.I still have to give it 5 stars, because it IS fun. It’s a 5 star party light, for sure.

Turn up the party!
I’ve been testing out some DJing lights for when I go back to doing gigs. Testing out this feature light, well, it’s big, it’s bright, and it’s got a ton of features I don’t even know how to use. I spent a good hour programming DMX scenes with this thing, and it’s got a lot to offer. It does create some cool effects, I’ll give it that. The rotating arms and the different color combinations are pretty neat. But it feels more like something you’d see in a club or a bigger venue. I tried setting it up on my light stand, but this is really designed to be hung vertically from the middle of a dance floor.I can see how this would be great for a dedicated space for events or parties, but for a mobile setup, it isn’t as effective as something that would point straight down like you can see in the demo video. I think I’ll stick to something a little simpler. It’s going to sit in the garage for a while, I think, until I actually need something like this. It’s a solid design though – you can tell it’s well-made. It just isn’t the right fit for my needs.

Fast, responsive and feature packed
This thing is wild. The 6-arm bee-eye effect is eye-catching and perfect for filling a space with color and movement. Runs quiet, responds well to DMX, and really elevates a lighting rig. Definitely a crowd-pleaser.

Excellent Bee-Eye Light
This moving head 6-arm bee-eye light is excellent for dynamic lighting during DJ sets. These lights look very good when placed stage left and stage right and used together. These light includes a remote control and is easy to operate, but to get the most out of it you will likely want a DMX lighting controller. The light is a reasonable value at $200, but I have seen better prices for this style of light. The light can respond to sound, run a preprogrammed mode, or be controlled via DMX. The light is highly functional and I expect it will last several years with frequent use.

Nice and vivid effects light! Not very robustly built.
Overall a fairly cool light. I need to spend some time making a program for it with my DMX controller but some of the presets that you can demo are pretty vivid and it is DMX capable. I really do think you need a controller to fully get the potential of this light. It is decently bright and can be used in small to medium room applications. The motors are nice and quiet for the most part and it seems to have consistent performance.As far as build, it feels a little lighter than I was expecting and the moving arms don’t feel the strongest either. It makes me feel like I need to be careful since it’s lightweight plastic and also not waterproof. I will definitely have to be mindful when transporting this.The optics are nice and vivid along with the lasers and I think its a good light for cutting the norm of the straight beams and par lighting. As far as value, I do wish this was built a little more robust given the price point and that’s why I had to take off one star. I have a spotlight along with a couple of par lights that were built with metal housings and they cost quite a bit less than this light. Don’t get me wrong, this light is still built well.At the time of this review, the price was $199.99 for this light. I would recommend trying this if you are looking for an all in one, lightweight effects lighting unit or just wanting something different and against the grain. Two of these would be pretty darn cool to see on any stage especially with a DMX controller. It could be an investment though at this price point depending on your budget. I can say I’m happy that I have it vs not having it and I hope it lasts!
