Very poor performance
Donât buy this. I wrestled with it for over a month. The remote and response is very slow. Buffers a lot. Just works like crap. I finally bought an ONN Stick for under $15 at the advice of a friend and the difference is Night and Day.

I brought 6 of these boxes, for the most part , im only having problems with 3 of them. I reached out to the seller and the told me to clean the HDMI cords ð±ð¤£ ( the it comes from rust). 1st of all the cords were new and the TV’s not even a year old ( i seriously doubt it’s rust). So i did what they said and it’s the same result. So now I’m seeing if they gonna switch it.. so I give 3 starts because of the 3 boxes situation. So far the other 3 boxes working just fine so far. I purchased September 1 and the 3 went bad October 8th. I hope this helps

I was very disappointed to receive an older version (12.1) of the product to the one advertised (version 13.1). Nothing works not even YouTube. There’s no update available to the latest 13.1 version.

Received unit 1 day late. Also, while the box works and does what it’s supposed to, the description on the box is totally misleading, proper misrepresentation which, in a country like Britain, one can be prosecuted for. The box says 5G 4K on it, but it cannot ‘see’ my 5G networks, which means it is not equipped with the WIFI 6 communication protocol. (I’ve not been able to test it’s 4K capability). I have another exact same box as this, only difference is that one is Android 10, whereas this one is Android 15. And I bought it for the same reason, that it states in the name description that it is 5G Wireless capable; but just like this one, it is not, and it struggles badly with 4K video. So, I believe that all these boxes branded MXQ Pro 5G 4k, are lies, and Amazon should really do something concrete about it. I’m now sitting with a box that I am unhappy with, but don’t want to attempt to change because I will go through 50 exchange processes, only to find they’re all the same and that I’ve wasted valuable time on the process. Come on, Amazon, don’t become like YouTube, where YouTubers are allowed to make the most outrageous claims in their titles, stated as fact, only to discover once you watch the video, it’s all lies; hold sellers to proper account.
