Strong, flexible, and super useful for filming setups
Iâve been using this Neewer 11â Magic Arm Clamp in my filming setup and itâs been super helpful. It holds monitors, lights, and even small cameras really well. The build feels strong and the clamp has a tight grip â no slipping.What I really like:The articulating arm moves easily but stays in place once locked.The ARRI pins give it extra stability with cages like SmallRig.Itâs super versatile â Iâve used it with lights, monitors, and phones too.Itâs a small accessory, but it really helps organize and level up your rig. INSANELY versatile & sturdy
I initially bought this product to be able to mount my phone to film training sessions with my dog both at home & places like parks, where I did NOT want to be carrying a bulky tripod. And it has completely exceeded my expectations in its versatility.It can fold as compactly as to fit in the palm of your hand & can be mounted to damn near ANYWHERE. I have mounted it to my car door, trees, a tennis court chain link fence, etc. I’m also kicking myself for not getting one sooner because it’s SO much more efficient than the small desk top tripod I was using to film at my desk.It is very well manufactured and screw VERY tightly into place, not a single wobble in sight so long as the surface you are mounting it to can hold the weight of the mount and your phone or camera.I truly cannot recommend it enough for ANYONE who films ANYTHING. Anyone from the beauty girlies to the athletes to the culinary and crafting content creating divas would absolutely LOVE this product. One of the best purchases I have made all year, no BS

Great for mounting a web cam in front of a large monitor
I bought this arm to mount my Dell web cam in front of my Dell U4320Q large screen monitor. With a monitor this large, it is a challenge to figure out where to put the web cam for conferencing as you want to be seen as looking into the camera while still being able to view the screen. The bottom of the screen is too low, and the top is too high. Ideally, you would want the camera near the middle of the screen. With this mount, I can position the camera in the screen area when using it and then easily move it down out of the way when it is not needed. It works perfectly!One note on the manual, it does not say how to lock the swivel ends for the arms and when the knob in the middle of the arm is loose, the ends move freely, but when you tighten the knob, it not only locks the center of the arm, but both ends as well.

INVALUABLE
Once you get a magic arm there’s no going back. These things are amazing for so many uses. Primarily I use it for lighting but in a pinch I’ll use it to mount my camera if it’s safe.

Locking pins make this magic arm a keeper.
Locking pins are a game changer. And the clamp is also really solid and strong. This is a huge step up from the old magic arms with 1/4″ threads since they would always loosen up over time. Not with this neewer magic arm. The locking pins make sure whatever it is stays in place. Whether its an iphone or monitor, or something else, it will stay locked in and not loosen at all. Loved it so much I bought the 11″ magic arm as well. Both are great to have depending on what you need.

I got this to mainly use with my OSMO Pocket 3 and place it on my rig although I can also use it with my video monitor. Havenât tried my bulky and heavy DSLR but pretty confident it holds well â not risking though.Anyway. Very high quality, sturdy, once you lock the mechanismâ it remains locked. Nice one! Definitely 5 stars and worth recommending it!
