This review is for the neewer Updated 50-1 camera kit, Like some reviewers have said some pieces are just junk but the pieces that are well made are worth the price, just remember that 1 piece that you buy at the official gopro store some times will cost more that you are paying for this 50 piece set and at the end they are just molded plastic so no high tech needed to do them so I am happy with off brand ones like this one, I do not have the old 50 in 1 set so I do not know if the “Updated” pieces are better or worse that the old ones, in this set junk vs good stuff as follows:The Junk:- mini tripod with the red rings is junk, look like is going to break just moving it around, I will be taking it to the trash.- The suction cup for the glass do not look as good so if I ever use it will be to record inside a car or a place where if this suction cup fails it will not ruin the camera.- In the case that holds everything the foam insert inside is trash, the case itself is not bad, if you buy a nice piece of foam and cut it for your needs it will make a nice case to move around since is bigger than the official gopro and will be able to hold the camera and a few accesories.The good stuff:- The chest, head and wrist mounts are well made and look almost the same as the gopro official products, just by getting this 3 mounts I am happy for the price.- The selfie stick is stiff and I will be happy to record with it in the fold position and will be able to record myself some times when needed, selfie sticks are not for heavy action movements anyway so this one is good for what it is.- The bicycle handle bars mount is really good and I will be happy to put it in my bike.- The floating yellow handle will be very nice if you go like boating and you drop it in the water this will be easy to see, the official gopro floating handle that I received with my camera is black with a 1 inch piece of orange at the top and will be way more difficult to see in the water, this one is very good.- There is one piece that will fit on top of a regular tripod for cameras, this is really nice to just set the camera on top and record with no movement, like if you record video for youtube is really nice.- The rest of the mounts for the helmet and screws are really good and I am happy with the quality, no need to pay 20 or 30 just for screws and sticky pads.NOTE: The mount parts that go to the camera does not have a grey rubber insert that the official gopro have, this rubber is designed that once you secure the camera to the helmet for example the mount does not open by accident and the camera comes loose, after testing this mounts without the rubber part and since this parts are stiff both on official piece and this one I tested one and I think that the only way for the camera to come off will be if the piece break, it feels as strong as the official part so I do not worry, I have included a picture of the official gopro mount and a piece of this kit for reference, I received 2 official pieces with my camera and I can use this ones in extreme situations if I want.
