Not so good
I have had Nero Burn mbefore and it worked great. Not such with this one. Had great deal of trouble burning disc’s with this version. Would not buy it again.

product quality
I found this to be useless. I have used other Nero apps with great success but this one is terrible. After installing I tried to start the app. The icon on my desktop would not work at all. I tried to use the autorun from the disc which opened, but every feature I tried to use wanted me to buy yet another app to use it. I absolutely suggest that if you are looking for a burner app, pass this one by.

Works perfectly well on Windows 11 and updates to the latest version of Nero Start, CoverDesigner
After reading some of the reviews here I was a bit hesitant to purchase this product for my Windows 11 PC. However the low price convinced me to do it anyway and I have no regrets. The installer and the included CD say 2020, but still it installs perfectly well on Windows 11 and works like a charm. Via the included Nero ControlCenter I updated all components and now I have- Nero Start 26.5.68.0 (The most current version)- Nero Express 22.0.1016 (The most current 2020 version)- Nero CoverDesigner 26.5.1.6 (The most current version)- Nero KnowHow PLUS 2.1.2 ( The most current version)The CD itself only includes a small downloader utility which works totally fine. However inside the manual there is a download link, too, so you don’t need to actually run anything from the CD.

Not impressed
Iâm not sure why I returned this product and was sent another one. I made a review on the first one that was sent to me. Apparently it wasnât a very nice review although I donât know whatâs wrong with it because they told me to edit the review. This program did not work very well. It would not install the things that it said it could do which is why I bought it. Every time I clicked on it, a screen came up and said that I had six more days on my free trial and then I had to buy it, but Iâve already bought it. Whatâs even worse than that as it has install a whole bunch of advertisements and every 30 seconds a Nero had pops up, wanting me to buy another one of their programs. Why would I buy another one when these donât even work right. Iâve used Nero years ago without any problems. Apparently the quality has gone down. On the front it says works with Windows 10, but I have 11. That may be part of it. All I know is I paid money for a product that wants to sell me another product and keeps throwing pop-up boxes in my way and Iâm not sure how to get rid of them. In my last review, I posted six pictures showing the errors and the trial periods. They keep getting pushed up in my face. I just donât think that this product performs the way it should or delivers what it advertised.

Fits my needs ðð
To be honest I have not used nor have a need to try all features that this software is advertised to do.Basically a lot of my music has songs that are either crossfaded together or linked together. I wanted a program where when I burn a CDR it will keep the tracks together and not put any space or gap between the songs. And for that reason in which I bought it for it works perfect âºï¸It’s simply gives you the option of having a space between tracks or not. It also has a feature to level the volume if you choose.

Worthless – returned
This is literally the most difficult program I have ever had the misfortune of installing. It has already been removed from my system and returned.IT DOES NOT CONVERT audio files as advertised.I didn’t even both with DVD Rip or Copy anything as that was not my primary goal.Save your money Look Elsewhere.

Great Burning Software with 1 Major Flaw…
I’ve been a long time Nero user and will continue to be one for the foreseeable future. Nero Express is easy-to-use burning software. I go to it constantly to backup all my stuff. I always get great burns and no errors.1 fatal flaw keeps me from giving this version a perfect score. When you go to rip a music CD, you get a prompt saying that you need to upgrade your software to download cover art (metadata is free). This would be fine if you could unlock this feature for a few extra dollars, however, the link provided sends you to the Nero site and you are asked to purchase a $50 – $100 complete package. NO THANK YOU!You can ignore this prompt, however, it keeps reappearing every time you rip a CD. I end up closing the prompt and downloading the cover art manually off the internet then attaching it to the MP3 in Windows Media Player. This is fine if you’re only ripping a few CDs, however, it can get quite cumbersome if you have a library full of CDs.Until Nero fixes this issue, I give Express a 3/5 stars. I am even considering trying out other burning suites to see how they handle this issue.

If you just need to etch a design on cd
If you just want to be able to etch a design on cd this is a great program to buy. You may need to download the lightscribe drive which is free to get Nero to recognize you have a lightscribe drive. So that being said your cd drive should be lightscribe or lightscribe capable and have the lightscribe drive download and then it will pop up on Nero. If you don’t have the lightscribe icon on Nero you are missing one of these things or both. Just google lightscribe drive free follow instructions for your system.

Extremely disappointed! Cannot rip and burn — nothing except advised to purchase an additional product. Have the old version on my laptop and used with satisfaction. Sometimes new isn’t better! Now will look for a better product elsewhere for my desktop.
