Impressed by the quality and ease of use
I have been using this projector for 2 weeks now and am finally ready for this review.The setup steps for my licensed version are very simple. (I was ready to watch within 10 minutes.)The graphics are very clear at any distance with a simple focus adjustment switch.The Good:1. Netflix works perfectly without any lag at 1080p. It’s Clear as heck on a white wall (I haven’t tested it on an actual one, but I’m sure it’s even better).2. Amazon Prime – Same here, everything works as it should.3. YouTube and YouTube mirroring work perfectly.4. Screen sharing both from iPhone 16 Pro and Galaxy S 22 Ultra works as designed.5. The two side speakers sound good for what they are. I had to adjust the bass down a bit, as the highs were getting drowned out.6. It does have an option for a browser with Hulu URL pre-loaded. This option works with my Hulu, but like any browser, it is clunky, and at times it’s too much to use the arrow to browse around and hit ok on the remote.7. HDMI works great! This is what solved all my issues, but everyone may not have it or need it. I added my Google Chromecast and the game was over! Now I have access to everything across my Google Home, which syncs everything as soon as I log in to my Google/YouTube TV. I can start and stop shows from any tv and in this case projector with my phone!Wishlist for future iterations:PLEASE: Add a Google Play app store option so folks can download streaming apps like Hulu, Peacock, Paramount, Apple+ +, YouTube TV, Sling, etc. Why get another HDMI device like Chromecast, Fire Stick, or Apple TV to do the function that the built-in app can do?Overall, the picture quality and the build quality are important to me, so it is 5 Stars. Features are 4 Stars as we are missing an app store to download streaming services. The total price is worth the competition with the high-end brand projectors like Samsung and LG.Will I buy a second one in the future? Yes (Price + Quality) I’m sold.

The projector arrived excellently packaged in a presentable box, complete with all expected accessories, including a thoughtful spare air filter. Unboxing and setup were straightforward, and navigating the settings with the supplied remote was intuitive. While it lacks automatic keystone correction (a feature on some other projectors), manual adjustment was easy and a one-time task unless the projector is moved, so it’s not a major issue.The underlying menu system is very user-friendly, similar to many media integrations, making navigation a breeze. A definite bonus is the pre-installed, common applications. I was pleasantly surprised by the built-in Wi-Fi performance; streaming YouTube at its highest quality showed no dropped frames in the “stats for nerds” settings.The sound quality is fantastic – genuinely the best I’ve heard from a projector, making it stand out, especially for outdoor use. The image quality is also superb! While it won’t rival a dedicated TV’s sharpness, it’s remarkably good. It delivers a bright picture even in daylight, and in dark conditions, scenes truly pop with vibrant colour and brightness.However, there are a couple of significant caveats. Firstly, I would have liked a supplied carry case, particularly as it’s targeted for outdoor use, where portability and temporary setup are key. The fan, when close by, is quite loud, but easily forgotten about once getting into a movie and if at a distance from it.More critically, the projector randomly powers on from standby mode. This can last anywhere from 30 seconds to over a minute, and while it doesn’t project an image, the internal fan is loud enough to be disruptive. This woke me more than once when it happened in the middle of the night (in a bedroom setting). There was no discernible pattern to these occurrences (e.g., every 12 hours); it felt very random and seemed to happen daily. I found no setting to prevent this. I keep it powered off at the plug until needed now.For these reasons, and considering the price point, I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It’s a fantastic projector, but the random power-on is a serious design quirk to consider.

Ce vidéoprojecteur est super, il permet de transformer sa maison en cinéma. Mais il est important de noter plusieurs choses, car il faut bien penser à cela avant d’acheter ce genre de produit. Si on veut profiter d’un grand écran c’est possible mais il faut placer le projecteur assez loin de son mur/fond blanc… c’est à prendre en compte, il faut aussi voir où le placer, je me suis arraché les cheveux la 1ere fois (et les fois suivante pour tester autre chose) pour voir ou le placer, comment etc… car il faut le placer à bonne hauteur pour bien viser son mur, il est possible de faire pas mal de réglage, mais la hauteur ajustable proposé est assez limité et ne permet pas forcément de compenser si la hauteur où il est posé est trop basse par rapport à l’endroit de projection. Bref il est important de réfléchir à cela. Bien que réglable, on reste assez vite limité si on a pas une zone où il sera posé prévu pour cela. Personnellement il est posé sur une chaise haute et la partie avant est posé sur des livres pour pointer plus vers le haut. Ensuite on peut régler l’angle de l’image dans les paramètres, pas de réglage automatique il faut y aller angle par angle et essayer, jusqu’à être satisfait, ça peut prendre du temps, mais on y arrive. Bien sur plus on est en face et a bonne hauteur, moins il y aura besoin de se prendre la tête sur ce point là!Niveau image, c’est super, la qualité est bonne, la mise au point facile à faire, franchement rien à redire, même sans être totalement plongé dans le noir! (mais ça reste mieux)Niveau du son il est assez moyen, mais une connexion Bluetooth permet d’y associer une enceinte, ce que j’ai fait pour avoir un son du tonner, la combinaison de tout, fait que j’ai le sentiment d’être au cinéma.Le point noir est l’OS installé, car il est fermé, on ne peut pas y mettre d’application tiers, donc il faut oublier de télécharger une APK pour y mettre Plex par exemple, c’est un peu dommage, car on se retrouve assez limité si on a pas Netflix ou amazon, la possibilité de screener un autre écran permet de combler ce problème, mais comme le son, on a besoin de quelques choses à côté pour y arriver.Finalement, ça reste un bon produit, qu’on peut utiliser seul mais qui sera peut être vite limité ou du moins qui aura besoin d’un peu d’aide pour être réellement top, c’est un peu dommage, mais sans non plus être super gênant je trouve, personnellement j’en suis hyper satisfait.

The image quality is very good, a bonus the manual focus for a really sharp adjustment. Unfortunately, my room’s size and off-center projector location resulted in having to adjust keystone at every startup. I had to return it and get a much more expensive one that keeps setings also after power off.
