NordVPN is a great company that provides reliable fast and effective service. This was a good deal, but I will say that the customer support for the accounts can be lacking, but that is not Amazonâs fault. Definitely recommend purchasing this rather than going through the website for subscription.

This works with phones, Asus Routers and computers. It also enables devices that normally can’t have a VPN to utilize one by installing it to the router. Anyone who says this product doesn’t work isn’t telling the truth.The security is strong with RAM-Only servers, no logs, guaranteed. With wire guard protocol the speed is good, I get about 300bps down link.If you can get this on sale, it’s a valuable product.

DO NOT BUY NordVPN — Not Compatible With Most Well Known Routers
Updated Review:The information I posted below about NordVPN not working on the list of routers is only partially correct. NordVPN tells me their software cannot be installed on any of the routers on that list. My issue is on a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G smartphone. After months of contact with NordVPN support, I still cannot keep a reliable VPN connection on my phone so for now, nothing has changed. NordVPN continues to lose its connection to the NordVPN network servers every few minutes. It’s so unreliable that I cannot rely on it to protect me thus the reason for this negative review.Original Review:AVOID NordVPN like the plague. This is from the NordVPN website, “On 1 December 2018, NordVPNâs servers stopped supporting L2TP/IPsec and PPTP connections.” Because of this, the list of routers below are NO LONGER SUPPORTED. That’s something they DON’T TELL YOU BEFORE YOU BUY! How sad this is, advertise like crazy on TV about how secure their software is and how it protects your privacy but then after a couple months of email exchanges with NordVPN support they send me to their website that shows all the most popular router brands on the market today that are NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THEIR SOFTWARE. >>> UNBELIEVABLE <<< This company should be listed as A SCAMMER because just about everyone has one of the brands listed below.You might be able to install NordVPN cleanly on your cell phone, TV, or PC but every 15 minutes or so the connection drops and your data and privacy are at risk. Or, if your router is listed below, perhaps you never did have a secure, private, VPN connection at all? How secure is that? NordVPN even had the nerve to tell me to setup split tunneling as a way to fix my connectivity issue. Even their support staff doesn't know, or won't tell you, that their software is incompatible with your router. The work around is to install firmware from a different source than your router manufacturer. I guess you have to know which firmware is more secure now. I purchased the GL.iNet GL-AXT1800 which had Nord VPN preinstalled. At first, I used Private Internet Access for streaming services. After discovering that PIA is not great for streaming, I activated a one-month subscription of Nord VPN from their website to try out. After being satisfied with the performance, I purchased a one-year subscription from here. Not only did I get a better value on the purchase, Nord will not be charging me for an auto-renewal in the future.So far, everything on the Roku Streaming Stick 4K streams without any issues. I occasionally have some buffering during a live broadcast. The buffering only lasted about a second. This is being used at a business with AT&T’s overpriced DSL service. Those crooks at AT&T are charging the company Broadband rates for their DSL service because they can. It may be due to the fact we are streaming from Youtube and other media services on the weekly. ISP providers can throttle your internet for streaming too much and also use that as an excuse to jack your rates up. With a good secured VPN, ISP providers can’t tell how much you are streaming with their service. Also, VPNs are good for privacy and additional online security. If you are a gamer, a VPN can increase your level of protection against DDoS attacks for instance â not that these are common, but gaming rivals with a serious grudge could decide to attempt to target your connection and bog it right down, lagging you out of the game.Nord VPN works great on both the portable router and every device it is installed on.

Long-Time NordVPN User, Great Security
I originally bought this product in July 2022 and am just now writing this review in January 2025. Nord has been awesome. After my subscription expired, I renewed ever year since.PROS: It has a smooth and easy to use interface. Numerous VPN’s to select from all over the world, including specialty servers like enabling a Double VPN or using “Onion Over VPN” to utilize the Tor network for increased privacy. It includes bonus services with your subscription such as a “Dark Web Monitor” that scans the web for leaked data related to your email, as well as Anti-Malware features, and Browsing Protection.Versatility — I use the NordVPN application on my desktop, laptop, phone, and tablet.CONS: Occasionally it drops connection. However, its not that often, but when it does I simply switch to a different server.

the serial no I got didnt work, hence it was returned. yet the bigger problem is their customer support, who literally were incompetent and were not able to help or validate the issue nor solve the issue. Even trying to activate the product was a hastle. I got PIA which worked on the spot!
