Trendy Retro Style!
Love the look. I have waited a long time to get this. Just needed the old maker to stop working. This maker is stylish and brews a nice pot of coffee. I was worried about there being no “bold” brew setting but I have used the same amount of grounds and the coffee tastes great!Something about this carafe pours better than my old maker, also.Easy to clean, love the reusable filter.The only thing I don’t like about this stylish and simple to use coffee maker is that there is no water window. You cannot see if there is already water in or how much. Guess I’ll just have to pay attention. ;)Love it for now…I will update in a few months.6 MONTH UPDATE!! Still going strong! This pot makes 1-2 pots a day and we have not had a single problem or complaint.

Looks good, but looks can be deceiving
The digital clock did not keep accurate time (it was slow by hours…) so it would certainly be difficult to program the coffee maker. I was one day late in doing an Amazon return, so I had to contact the manufacturer. They were extremely picky in what they required to even accept a return. I supplied them with everything they asked for and then asked for a refund – but lo and behold, their customer service informed me that they had already started the process of sending me a replacement unit and that process couldn’t be stopped. I received the replacement coffee maker and within days the “pause and serve” feature stopped working. Hot coffee just spews from the machine if you remove the carafe during the brewing process. At this point, I just want a refund; I don’t want another replacement.

Okay…color and design are exquisite. So that is why I gave it a 5. However, the warming plate function is an issue. It cracked from the heat I believe. So now , after brewing I turn the coffee maker off asap. This one I hope to register on product site Nostalgia. But it is soooo pretty! Goes with my Nostalgia pink microwave.

(Read after note. Beware buying used! This one was new.)I like it. It’s pink! Slightly peachier than the photo shows. It’s big, but it’s lightweight. Yes it’s plastic. I think everything in a pretty color is.It made a good cup of coffee.Like somebody else said, the top does pop open when you put the pot in and out. The little spring thing where it drips out bounces up when you put it back in, and makes the lid pop up if it’s not locked.I only used it once, I had no problem with the brewing.I’m just thinking maybe I should have gotten the aqua like the rest of my Nostalgia. I painted my cabinets pink and aqua pearl.I love my Nostalgia toaster and mini air fryer in aqua! Really wanted something in pink.I know other people had problems with the operation of theirs. Or breaking early. I don’t know, because I’m not keeping it.Carafe is a decent thickness. And there’s big enough spaced in in the back to pour the water without spilling it.***Note! I bought it used “like new” in aqua. And the water poured out of the bottom immediately, all over my kitchen counter top! Do not buy used!There was no instruction book either, which would have been minor.They probably just resold it even though it was defective. Disappointed ð
