Great 4k Replacement Webcam
So I was using a regular Razer Kiyo webcam and my stock MBP Facetime camera before this, and wow what an upgrade with this webcam. As far as functionality goes, I’m just scratching the surface of what I can do with it and the price is an unbeatable value for the money. The functions this camera can do with brightness, sound quality and zoom, and panning are amazing. As far as just pure camera functionality, even the stock image from like photo booth look great. The ability to set the camera to track different parts of you is a fantastic feature and the software is very robust and has both a beginner and advanced feature set.It work with everything from OBS to Microsoft Teams to Zoom without a hitch. I used to use the ring light on my Kiyo for improving my appearance while on camera but I don’t even need that with this camera. The best part about this is how portable it is. I can toss it in my tech bag and barely notice it is there. Osbot knocked it out of the park with this webcam!

Impressive image for the price
Great camera! Iâve only done a few test runs so far, but Iâm really happy with this purchase. Itâs a fantastic option if you want to stream or record gaming-style videos without spending a fortune on a DSLR. The image is sharp, the 4K is real (not fake upscaling), and everything looks super clear. Compared to the Elgato Facecam, this one is easily way better.

Its decent at best. About 10% better quality than a 70 dollar logitech webcam. software is nearly useless and does not look natural when applied.

Exceeded expectations
Initially I was skeptical about this, because of the form factor, and that it can do 4K. I was stuck between the choice of buying the SE version or this 4K version. Fortunately, the discount came along, for the 4K, and I got it for just about a couple dollars more than the SE. Tried using it, it was great. The tracking works like magic, and I think would be more than enough if you are just a casual gamer or just want to do some simple presentation. getting the 4K meant when the camera tried cropping and zooming in on me, I don’t lose any clarity. It’s a simple plug and play, easy to use, and has a dedicated app for MacBook. Recommend trying out the app before going for really video calls. The quality if the image is incredible for something this size and this price. I don’t think it to be fair comparing to DSLR webcams, but the price and the form factor that you get from this webcam is nothing to be complaining about.

Daughter wanted to try her hand at streaming, so I grabbed this for her because I wanted to at least have 4k capability.It is so nice and small and performs VERY well out of the box. Only been using a few weeks, but stellar thus far…

CPU hog, waste of money.
Do not recommend. Maybe with a brand new PC with tons of RAM it’d be usable, but for me it is not. If you want to use any of the features which are the SELLING POINT of this camera, you need to download and use their OBSbot center software, which is an absolute suck on CPU usage and memory. Even in the preview mode, there is insane lag when you enable features. Trying to stream with features engaged? Good luck! Generally a pain in the ass to use, constantly having to delete and re-add it as a source. In fact, I named it “PITA” in OBS lol. The video quality is good, sure, but not better than significantly cheaper webcams. Kept trying and failing to update itself as well.Also, this is a small thing, but the placement of the cable port makes it basically impossible to use the included stand.

This web cam is tiny but mighty! The image quality is very good. I’m planning on starting to stream and this was a key piece of the puzzle. The low light image is impressive. I don’t use the onboard microphone as I have a Yeti Nano for that. I think the mic would be fine for meetings or calls but for streaming it’s not the best quality.Pro’s:-Image quality-USB C to A connection (into the monitors USB B hub)-Size-Magnetic baseCon’s:-It tends to get a little warm after using it for a whileRecommend if you are looking for a good quality streaming web cam.

Great Camera quality. Having the option to to use 1080p (up to 60 fps) and 4k (30fps) is nice. Has a big sensor which helps with picking up more light. Cool AI features for those that need or want that. Usb c that is replaceable which is great. Very small and portable, quick and easy to set up.I had a Logitech Streamcam beforehand which I was happy with but the cable got damaged and is attached the the camera… so needed to replace the whole camera. I explored other options and thought I’d upgrade instead of replace. If you want a cheaper option go for the Logitech Streamcan. This has a slightly better colour balance and lighting out of the box, but colour balance can be edited on both cameras in their softwares if needed. I never use audio in webcams so cant comment on this.Highly recommend ðð»
