Solid high-output flood light with some clever smart features
I installed this Onforu floodlight above a garage and it’s done exactly what I hopedâbright, reliable illumination with the bonus of smart control. The 5 adjustable heads are the real standout; I was able to angle each one to cover a wider section of the driveway and side yard without creating hot spots or dark zones. The output at full brightness is intenseâeasily lights a large area, and more evenly than single-head models.The smart features via the app work surprisingly well. It connected to 2.4GHz WiFi without much fuss, and the adjustable color temperature is more than a gimmickâIâve found myself dialing it warmer for ambient evenings and cooler when I want more visibility. Voice control through Alexa is responsive, though I mostly use the app timers, which have worked reliably so far.A couple things worth noting: thereâs no motion sensing or dusk-to-dawn mode built in, which some might expect in a floodlight at this level. Youâll need to rely on scheduling through the app or manual control. Also, itâs hardwired, so budget a little time for a proper junction box installation if you’re not replacing an existing wired fixture.Build quality feels solid and weatherproofing has held up fine through some decent storms already. Super Bright, Multiple Settings, Easy to Install, And Now with Alexa and WiFi Controls – PERFECT
Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions, and if I don’t like the description, I simply don’t order the item. If the product shows up as advertised, they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly. That being said: I don’t have a Lux meter, but I would bet this one pegs it! This light is super bright, and I have total control over temperature, brightness, and when and how long I want it on. This is also controllable through Alexa and the wifi app. Super convenient. It is easy to install, and I recommend that if you want to use it with the WiFi and Alexa app, leave the switch on and control it with either of those options. I like that all of the heads are almost fully adjustable giving a greater coverage area. I put mine up on one of the back corners of my home, and now I have side and back yard coverage.

Bring the light!
This is an added welcome to my patio. Install was quick and done in under 5 min. The included screws and foam circle for weather proofing was a good decision. The adjustment motion of the leds allows for light to be brought to whatever area you need it in. The app did take 2 tries to pair with the module, but it worked. The app easily was added to my Alexa and works with that programming just as good as everything else. The app was simple and intuitive. I like the option to change the light levels and hue.

Very bright light, but not easy to install if your electrical box isn’t flush mounted to your wall.
Summary: Very bright light. Individual light positioning could be better. Physical installation seems easy if your electrical box is flush with the wall. If the box is on the outside of the wall, the light does not mount easily. I had to 3D-print an adapter and cut the included screws to make it work.Installation: The electrical box I wanted to mount this light to sits on the outside surface of my wall, rather than being positioned behind it. The diameter of the lamp housing is larger than a standard round electrical box, so the gasket that’s provided doesn’t do a good job of creating a water-tight seal around the electrical box. I had to 3D-print an adapter ring to ensure the light base would be centered over the electrical box. The ring also gave me a convenient way to add sealant to make everything water tight. The included screws were too long and bottomed out in holes in my electrical box. I had to cut them by over half an inch to get them to fit. Because I had to create extra parts and cut screws to make it work for my situation, I am removing one star.Construction: The light assembly is mostly made with metal housings, but the joints between each light are plastic and the mounting base is plastic. I am concerned that over time, the son will weaken the plastic and cause it to crack.Illumination Quality: The light is very very bright. Even the minimum brightness is quite bright. The light provides at least 50 feet of great illumination.App Installation & Alexa Integration: Installation of the native app on my Android phone was very easy and straight-forward. Additionally, adding the light to my Alexa was equally easy.

Easy installation & simple pairing process. The app is alright, it allows multiple color options for the lighting, multiple on/off program schedules and quick connection to the light. I still prefer to have a motion sensor, but I’ll give this a try…

Good build quality, great idea for hard to light areas
I’ve yet to install these but the quality and features look great, ill be installing in my shed out the back as I have to walk inside through some things to get to the light switch so it will be much safer and easier to be able to turn on some light before I have to navigate the power tools.
