Really great, high quality, bright, smart flood light!
These are really very nice, high quality outdoor l.e.d flood lights. Right out of the box they feel like they are quality. Aluminum housings for each light, and each of the five lights can pivot in two dimensions from the one next to it. LSo, you can line them all up in a straight row, or curve them in an arc. You can point some up and some down. They will actually turn a full 180 degrees up or down, so I’ve even got one installed at the corner of my house with 4 lights in an arc lighting my back yard, and the last one pivoted back around 180 degrees pointing up my drive way towards the grunt l front. Very functional.I actually got both the 120W and that 65W versions. They are both about the same size, the brighter one just had more l.e.d.’s in each bulb.The app works pretty well. You mostly have to figure it out on your own, but it’s fairly intuitive. One screen turns the light on/off, and adjusts the color and brightness. The next screen controls the motion sensor. It took me a bit to get that completely figured out, but it works well. The third screen is to set up schedules.But… it also works well with Alexa. That’s what I’m using, so after seting the motion sensor, I don’t use the app much.It is clearly designed to be mounted vertically on the wall and NOT horizontally under the eaves, and that was clear from the listing. Nonetheless, I mounted them under my eaves with the help of an exterior junction box to drop them down a couple inches, and that is working great.The color temperature is adjustable, but not the whole color. So you can go from soft white to bright white, but not to blue or red. There are rows of 2 different color led’s in each bulb. If you go hard bright white then only half of them come on. Hard to soft white and only the other half come on. If you want it as bright as possible, then choosing a middle color setting gets them all going.Either way, these are BRIGHT! Even the smaller (on power, not size) 65W version throws a TON of light. If you have neighbors close by they may appreciate the dimming feature.All in all, really a great, high quality flood light. Definitely worth the price. If I have any concern at all, it’s that the bulbs are not replaceable. If they last as long as the manufacturer says them I may never care. But if a bulb burns out, then I’ll have to replace the entire unit. So, that’s the only potential negative I see.I would definitely recommend, and I would definitely buy again.
