Bright, Smart, and Built Like a TankâThis Light Changed My Yard!
I got the Smart LED Flood Light to light up my driveway and backyard, and honestly, Iâve tried a few outdoor lights before, but this one is next level. Itâs super bright, easy to control, and actually looks kinda sleek once installed.ð¡ Brightness That Actually Covers the Whole Area This thing puts out 6500 lumens, and itâs no joke. I mounted it above my garage and it lights up the entire driveway and part of the yard. The 4 adjustable heads are awesomeâyou can angle them however you want, and the coverage is huge. I donât even need a second light anymore.ð± App Control Is Super Convenient The Onforu app is easy to use once you get it set up (just make sure youâre on 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5G). I can adjust the brightness from 0% to 100%, change the color temperature from warm to cool (2700K to 6500K), and even set timers for when it turns on and off. Itâs great for security and also just for evening hangouts.ð£ï¸ Alexa Integration Works Like a Charm I hooked it up to Alexa, and now I just say âturn on the floodlightâ and boomâitâs on. You can also group it with other smart devices, which is cool if youâve got a smart home setup. It responds fast and hasnât glitched out once.ð Hardwired Setup But Worth It Itâs not solar or battery powered, so you do need to hardwire it. Took me about 30 minutes with basic tools. Great light
So let me start off by saying that I was totally shocked when I opened the box. Why you ask, the light was totally assembled together ready to be wired and mounted. It is a well built light, which was way more than expected. I am an electrician so it took me thirty minutes to install. I also do woodworking and I did not get this light for outside use although it did come with gaskets and all screws needed. I wanted to go above my bench to add additional light to the bench and worked perfectly. The reason for only 4 stars is the app. It took me longer to setup the app than installing the light. I think the app could be a little more easier to connect to the light. I am really not app savvy when it comes to things like that and most of the time it takes me a few times to figure it out. Love the light.

I love that I can adjust the brightness to suit different needsâfrom full brightness for security to a softer glow for ambiance.Smart App Control â The companion app (via WiFi) works smoothly, and setup was straightforward. I can control the lights from anywhere, schedule them to turn on/off, and even fine-tune the color temperature from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K.Voice Assistant Compatible â Works seamlessly with Alexa. Saying âAlexa, turn on the floodlightsâ is now a nightly routine.Multiple Lighting Heads â The 4 adjustable heads cover a wide angle, allowing me to point light in several directions, minimizing shadows and blind spots.Timer & Scenes â The timer function is reliable, and I like the customizable lighting scenes for different times of day or activities.Requires Strong WiFi â Make sure you have good signal strength where you’re installing these. Powerful and Smart, but App Setup Could Be Smoother
I’ve been using the Onforu 65W Smart LED Flood Light for a few weeks now, and overall, it delivers excellent performance. The quad head design is a real standout it provides wide, even coverage that lights up my entire backyard, far better than my previous dual head setup.The brightness is impressive (6500 lumens really is bright), and I love that I can adjust both the brightness and color temperature from my phone. Being able to go from a warm ambient glow to a cool, bright white has been useful depending on the time of day or activity. The voice control with Alexa also works well no issues once everything is linked.The app offers a lot of customization options timers, schedules, group control but I will say the initial setup was a bit clunky. It took a couple of tries to get the WiFi connection stable (only supports 2.4GHz), and the user interface in the app could be a little more intuitive. Once it was up and running though, everything worked smoothly.One thing to note: this light doesn’t have motion detection or dusk to dawn automation it’s fully manual or schedule-based via the app. If you’re expecting smart automation based on environment, this won’t deliver that out of the box.Overall, a strong and flexible outdoor lighting solution especially if you want fine-tuned control and smart home integration. Just be ready to spend a little extra time on setup.
