The instruction manual stated that the maximum SD Card size is 128GB, but it works great with a 256GB SD Card.F. There are many settings for both video and photography.G. Takes great picturesConsA. Infrared night vision very weakB. The SD card slot requires you to turn off the camera prior to removing or inserting a SD card. The old ORDRO HDV-Z20 had the SD card slot next to the battery in the battery compartment.C. When you remove the camera from the padded case the mode dial will change from when you put it into the case. Thus you need to make sure that the dial is positioned where you want it.D. To take a photo the mode dial needs to be on PHOTO.E. UHD Video Resolution1. When shooting UHD the Storage Aspect Ratio (SAR) is 4:3 and the Display Aspect Ratio (DAR) is 16:9. In other words, the resolution is 2880×2160 instead of 3840×2160.2. To make my editor cooperate correctly I had to use ffmpeg to correct the UHD files using: -vf scale=3840:2160.3. The FHD and QHD resolutions are equal thus you do not have to use ffmpeg to convert these video files.4. I would not use this camera to shoot UHD videos that I am going to edit the final product.5. Note: If you have handbrake on your system you might be able to use it instead of ffmpeg to transcode the video. the following command worked fine for me.ffmpeg -i filename.mp4 -vf scale=3840:2160 -crf 15 filename-transcode.mp4OverallA. Great camera for the price.B. Great color.C. Sharp Image Focus.D. Great little camera for making videos to post on the Internet.E. The only real problem is with UHD (4K) recording where the SAR and DAR values are not equal. This has caused complaints about the image quality. You have to transcode the image to fix this.

Itâs simple to use
I do live this product. The price was great. The only thing itâs kinda blurry and Iâve not put what I record on to the Tv to watch so I canât say. Anything about that and the reason I have not done that is because I donât have the recoding . What I thought was the recoding button. I guess wasnât I read the instructions and put my memory card in,Recorded my husband race. And have yet found it So I assuming I must of done something wrong. Iâm still learning how to work it. And will let you know when I do
