Perfect when out of phone storage
My wife take pics and videos often, so much that she ended up paying to upgrade her cloud storage. I bought her this and she absolutely loves it. Its slim low profile design, transfer rate speed is good, and reliable. I wish I would have purchased myself one. Only hold up, is the price of the model that I am interested in. I need something that has a larger memory size and faster transfer rate due to my use of my phone doubling as a portable PC for my job as a online content creator. I would need at least the 2tb 2000mbs version.

Budget-Friendly SSD That Gets the Job Done
Been using the ORICO 1TB Magnetic SSD (K20) with my iPhone 15 Pro for 4K ProRes video, and itâs honestly a steal for the price. Itâs way cheaper than big-name competitors and still records super smooth, with crazy fast 2000MB/s speeds that make saving and transferring footage a breeze. The short USB-C cable keeps things neat while shooting, and the magnet is legit strong. Sticks to my iPhone like glue, even with a slim case. The aluminum build feels a tad dinky, like itâs not as premium as pricier options, but it hasnât let me down. Only bummer? It holds about 70 minutes of 4K ProRes, which I didnât catch at first, so plan accordingly. Also, the instructions are basically nonexistent, and thereâs no app, so youâre kinda on your own to figure it out. Still, for the cost, itâs a solid pick for iPhone video folks!

Unit Stopped Uploading & Shuts off After a Few Minutes
Hello. I reached out to the company directly over 2 weeks ago describing an issue I’ve had with this product with no reply. The unit works for a few minute, allowing me to access the info I’ve already added to it, before freezing. It also will not allow me to add any more info – it starts the upload process but again freezes. Amazon us saying my return window has closed now as of the 16th of June but again I reached out to the Orico website directly with no response. Even if I were able to receive a new unit, i cant remove any of the info I’ve already uploaded. Over 1 terabyte of info that I’ve already deleted from its original source. Can someone help please????? I will gladly change my review to 5 stars if we can correct this issue. The unit worked fine for the first week originally. Thank you.

STRONG MAGNETS & SOLID DRIVE
So far so good. The drive is recognized by my phone and the transfer speeds are pretty good. Itâs a decent size not being overly large and also not being too small and helps me grip my phone better. As far as the few complaints Iâve seen about the strength of the magnet, I had a hard time prying the thing away from my phone because of how strong the magnets are. I did not use the additional ring that came with the drive because I donât need to. I own an iPhone 16 pro max and have a MagSafe compatible case because, well, who wouldnât? Itâs a great addition to my already 1TB capacity. I will probably pick up another one with a larger capacity, I just wanted to test it out first to make sure it was a solid device before I spent the money on the 2TB drive. All around, solid buy. Well worth the money, STRONG magnets, fast transfer, perfect size⦠very happy with my purchase.

Perfect for Content Creators
Seems to be great so far. The drive mounts perfectly to the back of my iphone 16 Pro even with a case on. But more importantly, the copy speeds are really fast which is really what I was looking for. As a content creator this is exactly what I was needing to offload my videos/photos from my phone.
