They are lightweight, comfortable, and kept us cool all day long, even in the intense Florida heat. The battery lasted the entire day on a single charge, which was really impressive.The cooling power is strong and the adjustable speeds were perfect for different situations around the parks. They’re easy to pack and really made a big difference in staying comfortable.The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they can be a little noisy, especially on the higher speeds, and if you have long hair, you need to be careful because it can still get caught despite the bladeless design.Overall, definitely worth it — just a few small things to keep in mind!—Would you like a version that’s even a little more casual or shorter too, depending on where you plan to post it? 🎢🎟️

Piece of junk
This blows weak. The angle of the vents also don’t distribute the air well.I’ve had other ones from a different model that blow stronger and have better-angled vents, but they kept breaking after a couple weeks (they’d consistently shut off after a few minutes even on a full charge).Because they kept breaking, I tried this one, and I was disappointed by the poor design and weak fan.

Helpful but loud
This review is for the ‘cutnut’ Portable Neck Fan, Jet BlackAside from the brand name, this product functions similarly to many others that do the same thing. It relies primarily on evaporative cooling. Meaning, it’s hot and you are sweating, so by blowing air on your neck, the evaporation then cools you off. I don’t believe the fan itself has any ‘coolant’ or refrigerative mechanism.In terms of build quality, this fan is nice and lightweight. It is comfortable to wear and not heavy at all. It does note in the description that it “offers hands-free cooling that fits snugly around your neck.” This is factual. Once you’ve turned it on, you do not need to handle it. It also does fit snugly. As a ‘big man’ with a muscular neck, it fit pretty snugly on me and I’m not sure how much I’ll like that. The fans felt very much in my ears. But for my wife, it fit much more loosely around her neck and really blew the air on her. I think it will likely work best for her in the long term.This fan is equipped with a rechargeable battery, which charges via USB-C. That is a nice feature, along with the fact that it displays the charging percentage and fan speed on a small display. I like that this doesn’t try to be something it’s not, like ‘it’s also a phone charger and drink mixer’ or something. It’s designed to keep you cool for several hours and should really help in that regard.Although this fan features a ‘bladeless’ design “for Quiet, Safe Cooling”, that does NOT mean it’s really quiet. Perhaps ‘quieter’ might have been a better operative. It’s actually a bit loud and may drone you to sleep after a while. But at least there are no intakes that will suck in your hair or blow dust bunnies in your face. The fan speed is adjustable, but even on the lowest setting it’s a bit loud.I selected this fan because my daughter is a competitive swimmer, and as such my wife and I often spend HOURS sitting in hot, humid natatoriums. I have no doubt this fan should make life much easier in those situations where we have to sit on a hot pool deck or even outside during the summer.I’m not sure the price point at this time, so I cannot attest to the full value and whether it is worth the price, but if it falls in the $25-35 range, it should be a good value, and I can definitely recommend it.
