Excellent product.
I bought three of these. Theyâre terrific. All my wall-worts and smart plugs fit perfectly side by side. The cord length is versatile, but not overkill. I love the extra Usb/usbc slots to avoid having to use extra plug space. I like that theyâre surge protected and can actually turn off the strip if not in use. Well built and sturdy.

Although the concept seemed fascinating, I forgot about this feature and simply used it as a basic power strip for two months. When I finally tried the “Smart” functionality, I was shocked (no pun intended) to find that it required invasive software that collected and transmitted sensitive data to third parties. No, thank you!With a sigh of disappointment, I returned the “smart” product to Amazon and embarked on a quest to find a more straightforward power strip with ample connections and USB ports. As fate would have it, I stumbled upon the Hanycony 12 Plug Power Strip with USB during a “Lightning Sale,” and it checked all the right boxes. It had 12 outlets, a 5-foot braided power cable, 4 USB Type-A ports, well-spaced outlets, surge protection, and most importantly, no intrusive features.Still craving some “smart” functionality, I purchased 4 Govee Dual Smart Outlets, a brand I’ve trusted for other products/needs, and they fit perfectly with this power strip â a divine pairing indeed. Thanks to the spacious design of the outlets, I managed to fit an additional 8 smart outlets on top of the strip. Controlling various devices in my computer area has never been easier, with an Android tablet screen serving as my command center.Though the power strip has been a game-changer, it’s not without its minor shortcomings. For instance, it uses USB 1.0 ports instead of the more current USB 3.0 and lacks USB-C ports. These are trivial concerns, as I rarely use the USB ports in the first place. Additionally, I spotted a small burn mark on one outlet upon unboxing, but it didn’t impact the functionality. Lastly, the absence of proper mounting brackets was a bit concerning, given my power strip’s location atop a 6-foot cabinet. Works great. Even in multiple power outages, it still held strong and seemed to protect my devices. The device switch is in a nice location on one of the sides, right where the cable to plug in comes out. It has a great, right angled plug that’s flat so you can push furniture on it and it won’t bend or create stress.The power is consistent and doesn’t fluctuate, as far as I can tell. The size is perfect for mounting it on the wall with its backside mount holes. It can take quite a bit of weight when fastened to the wall properly. I have multiple, big blocks plugged in for my router + modem and they hold great.
