The PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch featuring the Pikachu Retro design is a fantastic addition to my gaming setup!First off, the design is absolutely stunning. The retro Pikachu theme is vibrant and nostalgic, and the attention to detail makes this controller a true collector’s piece for any Pokémon fan.Functionality-wise, itâs excellent. The controller feels comfortable in my hands, with a solid yet lightweight build. The textured grips provide extra comfort during long gaming sessions, and the buttons are responsive and satisfying to press. Controller first of all is beautiful with the graphics and finish done very nicely. Overall feels fairly solid with a good weight in the hands.Comes with a nice white USB-C cable for charging/connecting the controller. Battery life is great, getting around 15+ hours of light to moderate playing from a full charge to where it no longer works. Syncing the controller worked fine, and zero issues with disconnecting.Thumb sticks are solid without any drifting. The ABXY buttons do feel a bit soft or spongy while pressing. They certainly work well enough while playing, but just something to be aware of. The D-pad is good in the up/down/left/right directions, but difficult to hit/hold diagonals. The triggers and bumpers are average feeling. Back buttons are certainly nice to have, and located in a good position to press, while not accidentally hitting them. You can assign any of the buttons to the back and is easy to program.Controller does not support HD rumble, IR camera, or amiibo. If you do not need it for those things, it is certainly a usable controller.While it may not be the best controller that I have ever felt, it functions well enough for actual use and includes programmable back buttons. I mainly purchased for the graphics and they did not disappoint whatsoever.

This is by far the most beautiful, aesthetic controller I have yet to come across for the Nintendo Switch, and I am so happy with the purchase. Especially with it going on sale, I had to snatch it up before it went out of stock.The pictures don’t seem to do the true beauty of it justice. Upon pulling it out from the brown Amazon box I was instantly happy with the purchase. The Nintendo branded box the controller was packaged in was lovely; accurately displaying the controller’s beauty and functionality across the packaging. Upon opening the box (*I recommend cutting through the tape circles they use with scissors rather than trying to peel them off), I was greeted first by the nice bright white controller charging cable, which comes with a velcro strip to hold/fold it back together post-use, a nice bonus. It is of good length and it feels of good quality. Unveiling the controller was exquisite. The vibrant colours are so bright and wonderful, and of course accompanied with a fabulous crisp image of Pikachu to adorn. The analog sticks feel absolutely lovely and move/rotate sooo smoothly, they’re truly like silk. The buttons feel sound and sturdy. I cannot speak for the functionality of the controller yet as I have been letting it reach full charge prior to use, but will update this review if anything arises, which I doubt given its felt quality right from the beginning. I would recommend this purchase 10/10 to any Pokemon lover, or to anyone just seeking for a beautifully designed controller. Grab yours before they’re all gone!! Amazon appears to be the sole last resource retailing this amazing wireless controller.
