Easy interface for music
I like this receiver for its simplicity of use and compact size. It makes a good receiver and amplifier for my sonâs bedroom audio setup. He had a couple speakers and a bass to connect and this is able to power the speakers for him. He has a powered sub paired with it as well. There is HDMI connectivity but he likes the ease of bluetooth. He uses the music apps on his phone most of the time. He also has an old cd player of mine connected to the audio inputs. The setup works well for him and sounds good. The amp isnât overly big, just a good size for a bookshelf setup. There are lots of other options for use, like for karaoke. He just uses for listening for now. The price was reasonable and performance is good.

Small exspensive
At frist was good 4 the money,but the left front out put was lower than the rite. A hiss noise from the speakers even when it’s turned off. Can only control the volume from its remote not the TV remote

Nice, compact, connects 4 speakers and Bluetooth connection to TV. Great for the back patio.
Does exactly what I need it to do. Great for me for the back patio. Bluetooth works great. This was the best option I could find with 4 channels for speakers and Bluetooth to connect to the TV. Fm antenna doesn’t pick up well and FM stations aren’t easy to navigate but ill rarely use FM radio so that isn’t a problem for me.

Better connection and controls instructions.
This unit provides amazing power and clear crisp sound. The draw backs are the equalizer display remains on and is a distraction while watching TV or video. Also, in order to completely tune the unit off, it must be done manually. A little more instruction on the controls and remote would also be very helpful.

Just what I was looking for….
I was looking for a receiver for my 65″ Roku TV, and, to also connect an old Technics turntable to, and connect 2 large speakers. This receiver does it all, and with 400 watts ! It took me a while to get the TV set up, as the ARC connection on my TV was not working. Then I found that I could connect the TV directly to the receiver through the square “optical” cord (digital audio out on back of TV) connection. I connected my turntable to the audio input “line” RCA connectors, and it works !. The sound is not loud enough, as is common without a preamp, so I’ve ordered a preamp, it’s around $18. The remote works good, I can easily adjust the volume. I love the graphics when any sound is output, it reminds me of a graphic equalizer from the “old days” . I don’t have any interest in the karaoke part of this receiver, so I cannot comment on that. Overall, this receiver is well worth buying, you will not be disappointed.

Junk Pyle customer support sucks
When I received the unit the remote did not work. I contacted pyle customer support this is their response:”Since your unit is less than 30 days from the date it was purchased, you can always go through the return process of Amazon for a faster shipping turnaround time.In case you need further assistance, let me know.Also, you can always open a new ticket by clicking this link:Contact UsWe’ll get back to you via email within 24 hours.Thank you and have a great day!”They never contacted me back.I contacted amazon they did a exchange with return. Before I returned original unit the replacement arrived. That unit would not even turn on. I tried the remote on the original unit and it worked. So I sent back the second unit that would not turn on along with remote from the original unit that didnt work. DO NOT BUY !!! They have no quality control at all or customer support.

A Powerful Pre-Amp with a Reasonable Price!
I like the HDMI ARC feature that came with the unit. The sound is perfect! I use this unit with my LG TV. I may buy another one as a pre-amplifier for my power amplifier. With the remote control, I can connect to my 80’s amplifier and then sit back, enjoy the music from different devices!

Really wanted to like this but it missed the mark
I really wanted to like this receiver. It looked great, sounded good and liked the Bluetooth connection.But I bought this for my home theater and it failed. The optical audio connection drops the signal on low sounds.I tried this with two separate units connected to two different TV sources. Even tried multiple optical cables. Sound kept dropping in and out on quiet scenes. Tried an optical to rca convertor, but then the sound would only go up or down on the unit, no remote control.Then I tried the HDMI route. Unfortunatly to get any signal to the tv, the Pyle receiver needs to be on. There is no pass through. Reciever off-no signal. But, I had sound, even low sounds this time.But, when I went to a 4k signal, the Pyle unit wasn’t passing through the siganl at 4k. So good sound, ok picture.So, I boxed this up a second time and returned it.

No complaints for the price paid. There were minor hum with the volume knob at 12 o’ clock but was easily reduced by separating the input and output wires from the toroidal transformer and separating the wire bundle consisting of digital, analogue and coaxial cables on the right side of the amp. Finally it was almost eliminated once I fixed on 2pcs of ferrite clamp on the transformer’s low voltage outputs – to the digital board and another clamp on the power amp board. Minor mods that cost almost nothing but greatly impacts the sound.
