I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and construction of this bag. I was floored by the number of pockets and compartments in it. There weren’t any pictures of the interior so I took a gamble and bought this nglad I did!

I was hoping this RAINSMORE 17-inch messenger bag would be the right replacement for a Nike messenger bag I’ve been using for years. However, this bag does not open as wide as the Nike bag, and I won’t be able to fit my lunch bag inside of it. But that is my fault for not checking measurements closer before getting it. This is a very nice bag that I’m hoping I can use in other situations. Here’s what I like and observe about it:- It has the look and feel of leather. I keep smelling it thinking it’s going to have a leather scent to it, but it doesn’t, of course, because it is polyurethane “leather.” It looks and feels super sharp, though.- It’s a full 17″ wide, over 12″ tall, and 6″ deep when fully expanded, not counting the outside pockets, which expand to 1″. This is big enough to accommodate my laptop and/or my 13″ x 10″ x 2″ portfolio binder, or both. Or, I can have the portfolio and two 22 oz. drinks I like to carry, just not with enough width to include my lunch bag.- All the components are nice quality, like the clasps, handle, rings for the shoulder sling, and the sling itself. The zippers all work smoothly as well. The buckle looking fastener on the front pockets actually magnetically snap-in-place, which is a relief because I can’t imagine having to undo those buckles each time I want something in the pockets.- I haven’t tried this in the rain, but it’s easy to believe it’s waterproof given the way the flap comes fully over the opening and secures tightly.- Finally, I appreciate the metal studs on the bottom that provide stability for the entire bag and protection for the bottom of the bag.

I usually carry my 15â laptop, an iPad and various charging cords sunglasses in the front pocket. The clasp Square latch in the center front dislodged on my second use of this item. This is an extremely low quality pull the engineer product. I would not recommend us for anybody.

I picked up the Menâs Messenger Bag (17 inch, black) for my daily work setup, I needed something professional-looking that could handle my laptop, charger, notebook, and all the random stuff I carry aroundâand this bag totally delivers. Itâs got that clean, executive vibe without being stiff or bulky.The PU leather looks sharp. Itâs got a smooth matte finish that doesnât scream âfake leather,â and itâs held up well against rain, coffee spills (oops), and general wear. Iâve used it in and out of the office, on flights, and even tossed it in the backseat a few timesâit still looks new. The waterproofing actually works too, which is a relief in Seattle weather.The interior space is impressive. My 17″ laptop fits with room to spare, and the padded compartment keeps it secure. Thereâs a zippered section for cables and chargers, plus a couple pockets for pens, cards, and my phone. I even squeeze in a slim water bottle and a snack bar. Itâs organized without feeling over-compartmentalized.The shoulder strap is comfy, adjustable, and doesnât dig inâeven when the bagâs loaded. The metal buckles feel sturdy and donât rattle or loosen. Iâve walked across campus, commuted on the bus, and even biked with it slung across my back. No issues.Overall, this bagâs a win. Would definetly recomend for professionals, students, or anyone who wants a sleek, functional bag that doesnât fall apart after a month. Iâm thinking of grabbing another one for my father-in-lawâheâs always juggling his laptop and planner, and this would make his life way easier.
