Literally not a thing I can nitpick about the product itself, phenomenal unit. Is it overpriced? yea, it’s razer, I’ve accepted it by now

    The Good and the Bad
The performance is great, the mouse is light and very comfortable. However the battery at 2k polling lasts 6 hours tops. The software is mediocre and slightly confusing at best.

    Expensive
I hate that this is so expensive. But this is literally the best mouse i have ever used. Hands down. So if you have expendable funds, go for it. If your an idiot like me, its worth it… but damn. Maybe a keyboard but a mouse 200$ crazy.

For this price it better be flawless.
Upgraded from the DAV2. And it’s an upgrade. Is it making me play better? No. Is it more comfortable? A little bit. Does it have better specs? Yes. If you’re mouse is working fine, you don’t need a new one. Go to YouTube for mouse reviews.

Great aim, needs work on physical aspects and higher LOD.
It has really good aim for CS2, but the lift-off distance was too low for me (even after setting to the highest in Synapse. I’m accustomed to 2mm). I asked Razer if there was possibly a firmware update in the future to address this, but no mention of that, just how to set to the highest setting. You can’t turn motion-sync off for less input lag/more of a raw aim feel, like on some other mice. Loud clicks, but responsive. I sometimes hear/feel the edge of the mouse scrape on the pad. The teflon feet could be better/bigger and they’re not as smooth as the ones that come with my Glorious D 2 Pro 4/8k. The battery life does last ages! Albeit, when you need to charge up, the charging cord is very stiff and tough to game with (not a huge a deal when it lasts ages tho, even at 8k). Maybe this is just me, but I would prefer the hump to be a little more forward too. The scroll is responsive and feels pretty good, would take a little time to adjust to the wheel for bunny hopping. I’d go for the V3 Pro over this if you’re looking for a new mouse, but I went back to my Glorious for the time being, which I feel I can spray better with in CS2. My other mouse also feels lighter despite being advertised as like 4 or 5 grams heavier. If you’ve got the money to spend, go for it, but I feel they could improve this mouse some more for the price point. gl hf!

Shape Ergonomics 8/10, could be better if the edges were rounded off instead of pointed to allow for a more comfortable ring finger wrap around the front of the mouseMouse Switches 10/10 Clicks with the new optical switches are extremely nice and very satisfying.Scroll Wheel 11/10, probably the best scroll wheel I have ever used on a mouse. period.Sensor and Tracking 10/10 when it works 0/10 when it hitches. The new Deathadder has an extermely nice coating and the little refinements over the V3 are noticeable in the hand. What I cannot attest to is the actual reliability and performance of the mouse. I have had several hitches on the mouse where the sensor would either not track properly or it skips. Sometimes the connection would feel like it is not stable despite having the green leds on the dongle. How often does this occur varies. When I’m gaming 8/10 times the mouse is working the way it should but since there is that 20% chance where something just doesn’t behave like it should it gets quite annoying. I am expecting this to be resolved via updates from Synapse.Synapse reviewA lot of individuals complain about the Synpase bogging down your pc or causing issues with lag but I have not see anything of the sort. I set the mouse config and don’t touch it and it doesn’t effect me either. I have used other mice while the Deathadder was connected and haven’t had any issues with the program running in the background. If there is a limitation based on PC spec, that could be the reason why people have issues with the program if their pcs are not as good. For now I will rate it 2/5 and will update my review if the mouse is fixed via update or possibly I have gotten a bad mouse. This mouse would get 4.9/5 if I had no issues with hitching. the -0.1 is the pointed edge in the front that reduces the ergonomic feel.
