I recently had the pleasure of adding the REOLINK 12MP PoE IP Camera Outdoor to my home security setup, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This outdoor camera has truly enhanced the safety and security of my property, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance.First and foremost, the image quality from this 12MP camera is nothing short of impressive. The clarity and sharpness of the video footage it captures are remarkable. Whether it’s daytime or nighttime, the camera’s advanced optics and high-resolution sensor deliver crystal-clear images with vibrant colors during the day and excellent night vision performance after dark. I can now easily identify even the smallest details in the footage, which provides me with peace of mind knowing that I have a reliable surveillance system in place.Installation was a breeze thanks to the Power over Ethernet (PoE) feature, which simplifies the setup process. With a single Ethernet cable, I was able to both power the camera and transmit data, eliminating the need for additional power outlets or messy wiring. Much better view angle of 110° then the 8mp cameras
This camera has a great 110° view. Zoom quality is a lot better then the 8MP cameras.Piece of advice, for faster camera responses, IE.. when opening your app on your phone or computer and you want the camera’s to pop up faster. Get the Reolink 36 channel NVR and a Reolink POE Camera switch or a Netgear POE switch. The 36 channel NVR works a lot faster then the 8 and 16 port NVR’s.It DOES NOT COME WITH A HARD DRIVE so you have to get one. This unit support up to 48 TB of storage but only if you get WD Gold drives. For some reason WD Purple has a 14 and 18 TB drive but not a 16 TB drive. Buying a 18 TB WD Purple will not be recognized by the NVR because the drive is too big.

Excellent cameras! Recommend to anyone!
I can’t emphasize enough how great they are. We have had our two first cameras for 3 months, starting end of August, one more – since September, 5, and two more we bought just a week ago. The best cameras I have ever seen by far and for the price paid. $109 is a bargain for the quality and functionality you pay for. When I zoom in, I can see stripes or cracks on our driveway from the porch roof height (1st floor ceiling). We can easily see the license plate 15 yards away from the camera. Ensure you have a 5K-compatible SD card (such as a SanDisk Extreme) or storage with adequate data processing speed. Though the camera is well-protected, avoid installing it in direct rain or sunlight to prevent unnecessary stress from water or sun exposure. Also, put the Ethernet connector protection lid on.California’s wind and rain season: successfully endured all wind gusts and periodic showers, with the rain and wind working together washing and drying cameras (slanting rain).July 4th, 2024 – Brentwood, California, Bay AreaIt’s extremely hot at 110°F. The cameras remain in the shade of eaves/gutters all day, except when the sun is low enough (sunset time) to expose them. Despite the intense heat, all cameras function perfectly without any interruptions. However, my Nest Doorbell camera overheats up to 180°F just as it starts to see the setting sun, and goes offline for up to three hours at this time of day until the sun sets and it cools down. At the same time, my five Reolink cameras continue to work without any issues even being exposed to direct sun rays for around an hour and a half (out of shade).

全く使えません。代わりを探してます。最初は録画機とカメラが連動せず、何とか繋がると、今度はセンサーライトが点きません。人が居ても反応せず、通知も携帯に届きません。ましてや無駄に何もなくても、20秒から１２０秒で通知が来るので、鬱陶しくてたまりません。肝心な時に通知が来ないし、無駄に送ってきません。メーカーも対応してくれません。採算やりとりして諦めました。このカメラと録画機は本当におすすめしません。reolinkは中国の会社です。
