Burgundy 4 ohm bookshelf speakers
Arrived swiftly, and in new condition. Plug and play.The little speakers are well made. Hooked to Dayton audio hta 20 and placed in kitchen cabinet as a Hideaway system to be used during food preparation, working on various projects on kitchen counter, laundry etc. By being placed in the kitchen cabinet, the bass and clarity is remarkable for near field sound. The kitchen cabinet further enhances the bass reproduction. Bass is deep for 3.5 woofers in the cabinet, and the tweeter seems to provide the rest of the frequency spectrum quite well. A real bargain. The burgundy and black cabinets look nice and well made of plastic. Very pleased. Couldn’t ask for more at the price.

No Grill Covers
Note: You have to like the naked look as, these speakers come without grill covers. The wooden sides adds a classy touch. The mid/bass speaker is reasonably good. The tweeter is weak, lacking spacial depth. Overall very good desktop speakers for but serious music listening. I give them an A+ for price and a ‘B’ for musicality.

dare i say the best priced, beautifully designed, AND sounds incredible speakers ive owned? yep.these are also compact, small, and carry a great full spectrum of sound. i use them off a tiny douk audio 1 channel ampwhich i use w a turntable, my computer, AND my phone when needed.these really work amazing. im impressed. quality build. attractive. LOUD and also, when played at low volumes…commands the frequency range of all sorts of media. music, digital and vinyl, AND great for movies as well.

Great sound for the price
Paired these to a Sony stereo receiver which already had Dayton Audio bookshelf speakers which were twice the size (and I thought sounded good)⦠switching between SPK A (Dayton), SPK B (Saiyin), and SPK A+B; noticed a huge difference. Daytons sounded quite flat and mostly had mids, Saiyins had a much better bass and treble range with so-so mids, and the two brands combined made for an exceptional sound. These Saiyins have a pretty punchy low end and pretty clear highs. I was pleasantly surprised with them. Plan to use alone with their own receiver, but might get another pair to keep with the Daytons.

Keep bass low
The speakers sounded good once they were set up. However, when I turned the bass knob up, the speakers turned off. That happened three times. I unhooked them & have since returned them.
