Excellent match for a Samsung TV with respectable sound and low-end from the sub.
I have always used the separate 5.1 type surround with a dedicated subwoofer. My wife wanted a cleaner look than the speakers on the wall. Since we have a Samsung TV, I stayed with the brand, Samsung. The sound is really good. We can hear the voices better than we have in a while. The overall sound can’t compete with my old Polk 5.1 system, but it shouldn’t be expected to. It sounds great. The sub fills in the bottom nicely. Again, it’s not going to sound like a high-end sub, but it does the job well. The wireless connection of the sub set up easily and has not had any problems. I’d recommend this soundbar / sub for anyone who wants a better sound from their TV.I like that this soundbar connects to the TV seamlessly. Since my TV is a Samsung the remote works perfect. It’s very nice that one remote does everything.The mounting brackets are nice and the included fold-out mounting guide was nice to ensure the screw placement was exactly where it needs to be.

Right Price and Sound Great
Bought these for a new home theater setup with a Samsung 8K TV. Looks good and sounds great. Easy integration. In the middle of being too expensive with other brands and too low end from junk. Very happy.

The sound is great and getting it up and running was simple. But the interface for changing the various sound modes is poor. The scrolling led display is very difficult to navigate.

Samsung Fantastic!
5 Stars great!The Samsung q900f is something else, its plenty loud and the bass coming from the 8 inch subwoofer is nice as well you have your choice of options to control alot of the audio like the eq adjustments, sound mode, ect. Also using either the samsung phone app, samsung remote and even using your tv remote no matter what tv you have if set on cec. Didn’t feel like getting the q990f which has the rear speakers that come with it just wanted to have just the soundbar and subwoofer the q900f it has the same soundbar dimensions as the q990f bar except it only is a 7.1.2 channel with 11 speakers in it. But playing some standard blueray or 4k blueray films its got some oomph to it even without the rear speakers for surround immersion. Everyone likes what they like and its plenty for me.I’d recommend this or any of the samsung F series sound systems!

Terrific sound and easy to configure
Very easy to install and configure. Iâve had (knock on wood), very good luck with Samsung TVs, and poor longevity with Bose. I decided to try this sound system and am very pleased with it so far. Try watching the opening to Top Gun and crank it up a littleâ¦.whew!!! Awesome!!

Great immersive sound
I got this last night and was afraid it would be bricked immediately based on some of the reviews, but fortunately it was ok! I already had the app and a cheaper samsung soundbar so I don’t know if that somehow made it work, but regardless–this things amazing.I tried a ton of different configurations and placements for the speakers and they ended up sounding best right behind the couch, pointed at each other. The immersion is amazing.I’m going to keep tinkering with the channel levels but I think I got it in a good place for now. I’m still trying to get the voices to sound lively while not having the other speakers drown them out. Even with the voice enhancement settings on, it still seems to be an issue.I live in a place with shared walls so I have my subwoofer/bass turned to the absolute lowers levels and it sounds good still/is low enough not to bother the neighbors. So I’m happy.TIP: Listen to the scene in “Secret World of Arrietty” where she steps into the kitchen for the first time if you want to test out your rear speakers. It’s an incredibly good sound design that will ricochet all around your room!
