    Best Router Lift
SawStop is known for high quality and the router table top and lift is another example of how well their products are designed and made. Replaced a light duty shaper top with both the top and lift. Added the Wixey router table DRO to the side of the lift and have not only complete control but robust lift and locking. The SawStop system is a little pricier than the Jessem lift but I was sold on the four pivot points versus two and the locking system is better engineered. A couple reviews reported the top not flat but mine measured within .003” across theongest dimension of the top. Great quality and fit and finish.

Indispensable tool. No suitable replacement for these.
I’ve purchased about 7 of these. I abuse the heck out of them. They are by far the best router lifts I’ve ever used. They do need regular cleaning and lubrication on the chains, or they get gummed up and are hard to move up and down. Also, if you use them a lot, as I clearly do, the black can wear off the top. The replacement part for the top is kinda stupidly expensive. I don’t give SawStop high marks on parts replacement, partially due to the $25 minimum shipping fee, no matter if it is one screw or small widgit. I guess Amazon spoiled me, but $25 is excessive. Also, there is one screw that holds the brake in that comes loose from time to time. But man does this thing do the job. Absolutely brilliant design. Perhaps a bit expensive, but worth it. The ability to move bits up and down by a thousandth of an inch at a time is really useful in my shop. The only measurement is relative, so there really isn’t anything to be said about it’s accuracy, except that you can manually dial it in to whatever is needed, and it will stay there, so long as the one screw hasn’t worked it’s way loose. And if you lose said screw, or some other part into the dust collection system, be prepared for the minimum shipping. I will not buy any other router lift, unless I run into something truly industrial that uses a high end spindle. That being said, I’ve pumped out close to ten million pieces using these. An absolute indispensable part of our process. I’ve previously used JessUm lift tables, and they were just junk in comparison. Don’t even get me started on the time when we adjusted the height using the crap that comes with the router. Yikes that was bad.

Don’t waste your money on this junk
bad quality. Should have gone with woodpecker or Jessem lift. Does not level well and have uneven surface.

High quality, repeatable and accurate settings.
The quality of the mechanism is tops. The positioning is very precise and repeatable within a couple of thousands of an inch once you get used to a little hysterisis (not slop) in reversing direction of travel. Yes expensive, but I think worth the money to have a 4 post accurate lift.

High quality lift. Adjustment increments are very clear marked.
This is a great router lift. I love the fine adjustments that are clearly marked. It is so easy to crank this up and down. We put this in the SawStop cast iron router table. The adjusting screws made it sit flush with the top. I haven’t used it yet but will do that very soon.

    Squeals a lot
Overall very sturdy and accurate. Needs cleaning from time to time as the sawdust seems to collect making raising the last 2-3 inches difficult. But the squeal – I can’t wait to find out or work out why is squeals so much. I’ve been lubing it, but no luck yet.

    Smooth, stable, strong.
If you get the install right this is a real pleasure to use… the adjustment and locking mechanisms are so smooth… the different rings snap in nicely. definitely recommend this system even though it’s pricy. Hoping I feel this way in 20 years…

    Worth it
This is a direct fit to the router table for your sawstop wing replacement. You can’t go wrong with this lift table.
