Donât let the reviews make you say no !!! Say yes
Honestly the design wins overall everyoneâs loves it have three jobs and use this to travel within a three mile radius. The scooters runs almost like a hoverboard, doing your part it really is fun and never felt so free. For 800$ itâs a lot but for 200$ it was a steal. It really is an amazing piece of technology giving you a Tesla expierance almost. I almost bought another because it was so fun. The battery dies soon but so does your phone I wish Segway kept this design and kept working hard at it I see potential still.Just because everyone didnât like it doesnât mean itâs a bad product everyoneâs just to hard to please. I appreciate this itâs both art and functional and fun

Stop selling defective scooter!
I am extremely disappointed with this seller. This scooter fails to charge or turn on, and this issue has occurred with another Air T15 that I purchased several months ago. It has been a persistent problem, and I am appalled that the seller is not taking any action to address or prevent such issues. My frustration is primarily directed towards this seller. I reached out to Ninbot Technical Service, and they informed me that the seller named “The Thrifty Posey” is not an authorized dealer. It is not surprising, given the name itself. I am furious because Amazon hides the seller’s name and information. When I clicked on the product I purchased, it was listed as sold from the Segway store. This was a total lie.If the scooter is not defective, I actually really enjoyed it. I really like the sleek design and the way that itâs being displayed when youâre not using itâs very compact and beautifully designed. The battery doesnât last for too long but itâs still reasonable for casual using. Iâve used it for a year and I like it a lot so I purchased another one for my friend as a birthday present. Who would have known that itâs been such an disappointing purchase experience. I have tried to purchase her the same scooter three times in the past year. The first package was stolen and the second and third package appeared to have the same technical issue.

A good short distance, compact scooter.
I really like this scooter. It folds very compactly and is lightweight at about 22 lbs. I only need a scooter for short trips so this works well for me. It also looks VERY cool as compared to all the other scooters out there. However, there are significant cons for most people. The range is WAY too short. It says 7.5 miles but I’m lucky to get 6. The tires are small and hard with no suspension on the scooter. It can only be used on smooth pavement. And you have to watch out for cracks and slow down. I generally get the 12-13 mph promised.Really this scooter needs a range of at least 10 miles and some kind of smoother semi-soft tires. And a couple more MPH to say 15 would be appreciated. I realize that would mean a bigger and heavier battery but if that could deliver that at say 25 lbs it would fit more people’s needs.I understand this Segway was priced at $6-700 when introduced. Way too expensive for what it is. But, at this price of $200 it is actually a pretty good deal if you can live with the limitations.

Perfect for a very specific user, but not at full price
Pros:Lightweight (23lb) compared to many other limited range/entry level scooters (33lbs)Shorter, so fits in a Miata trunk which no other adult Segway model did.Compact, even the handlebars fold down so it transports well on crowded train, even in front of you while sitting if necessary.Easy to roll like a dolly when folded. One click switch to fold/unfold is awesome.Rear fender step to power on/off is awesome.Kind of a gimmick but I use it – the packaging doubles as a stand.Cons:Realistically 5.5 mile range is very limitingTop speed maxes at 12mph which is all you’d want to do on these solid tiny tires.Requires smooth uncracked surface or ride is really rough.Almost unusable on moderate hills.Small scooter so over six foot tall people probably shouldn’t consider.Super cool lighting display option to choose any color (go purple!) is only effective if you connect to the app every ride otherwise it is default red.The cons are the result of this being a very specific purpose built scooter. If you have a very predictable scooter commute and don’t need much more than 5 miles of range per trip (or have a charger at your destination), your scooter path is flat and well paved but wouldn’t be safe at faster than 12mph, your commute involves a crowded train AND a compact two seat car with a child seat and a tiny trunk, AND you can get this on sale or used for no more than $250 you’ll be very pleased with the purchase.Otherwise, and especially if space isn’t as big a consideration, just get a slightly larger heavier but more comfortable scooter (pneumatic tires) with a much better range and a little better top speed for the 3-400 dollar range.I use the T15 for my driving/scooting/train work commute where I also charge at work, but have a separate larger scooter (Segway F35) for more unpredictable terrain and/or longer rides.Kudos to the designers though, who took a very specific and limiting brief and knocked it out of the park. I find delight in objects that are purpose built rather than built to appeal to the largest possible audience (see the Miata). Too bad there isn’t a big enough audience for this (or almost any audience at full price) but at least it existed for a bit. And as batteries get better, I hope what they found in creating the T15 informs design decisions of future models.

Debated Return but love the Styling
Love the design. There are some things I wish would be different. The folding it isn’t as problematic as the YouTube channel shows. It’s really almost impossible at times to fold it down. I wish the speed screen was brighter. Sometimes it goes up to 20mph but only temporarily. Sometimes 15 which is nice likewise.. however majority is 10mph no more and it slows down after use shortly to only 5mph. If you ride the bus it’s great for that, but the whole 4miles to work was super boring slow. One last thing, besides others agreeing suspension and height options would be great.. is that when it’s folded and you’re walking it, it’s very difficult actually and turns on or opens up with the slightest touch. Wish it was waterproof for rain .. but I drove through a puddle with no problem once.

For just around 300CAD (not including tax) this is a very practical e-scooter from Segway. I knew from the researched I’ve done on this model that it is catered to a niche set of user, particularly to those that need a ‘last mile of commute’ solution. As an example, my commute to work takes 2 rides of bus and a walk for around 1km. I am using my e-skateboard for the last kilometer. However, I wanted an e-scooter for a safer and more weather proof ride (to an extent, like light rain and light snow) that’s why I decided to purchase the Air T15.The T15 has a rated max. speed: approx. 12.4 mph (20 km/h) with typical range: approx. 7.5 miles (12 km) and rated payload of 66.1â220.5 lbs (30.0â100.0 kg). It also has 4 different speed modes to choose from:Pedestrian – max speed of 3.7 mph (6 km/h)Eco (Energy Saving) – max speed of 6.2 mph (10 km/h)Standard – max speed of 9.3 mph (15 km/h)Sport – max speed of 12.4 mph (20 km/h)It also has nice features such as 15% Hill Grade, IPX4 Water-Resistant, Cruise Control, Built-In Front and Rear LED Lights. It’s relatively lightweight (23 lbs / 10.4 kg) compared to other e-scooter in its category. It is ultra-portable since it folds completely in half, even the handlebars retract for a flat and compact form-factor for easy transport while using mass transits.Shout-out to Hyper Mega Electronics for this great deal on the Air T15, their customer service is very accommodating on my inquiries prior to my purchase; the shipping is fast and on-time as well :)**I will update this product review upon actual usage of the Air T15 for a week or so, to share my thoughts about its real world performance (speed, ride comfort, stability, battery life etc.)

Totally disappointed with Segway. Thought I bought something for 3 years at least and it’s dead in 13 months. Do not buy this a total scam

I like this scooter because I like slower and more relax ride. Tue charging is quick and the battery last for about 7km when you see half of the battery is gone. This scooter canât overcome a small slope or uphill of 10 degree. So itâs only good to ride on a dedicated smooth and flat bike lane. Not very good on sidewalk. Bumpy ride. But the look is sleek. I enjoy it.

Excellent last mile scooter, yes it has 0 suspension and tire is rock hard, but that’s what you’d expect for a last mile scooter. It’s the smallest you can get that can be folded carrying onto crowded TTC streetcars, up and down office stairs.Update:TTC banned scooters on their vehicles for 6 months of winter time thus renders this scooter a little useless for my purpose. if you were aiming for other last mile utility get a slightly beefier scooter for your vehicle use.
