Great Bone Conduction headphones in the Sub-$200 range
These are hands down the best pair of bone conduction headphones I’ve ever owned– I’ve tried generics that fell apart, and a mid-range Aftershokz, where the build quality, battery, and sound were okay, but they failed at the volume rocker/power button.Some general perks you get with just about any bone conduction, I bought these because I want to keep situational awareness– walking around, I want to know if there is someone coming up behind me, be they on a bike, walking, or in a car. Of course, this means on the downside, they don’t block out the annoying music or loud conversations you hear on the bus for example.I can also listen to these at work while still responding to phone calls, questions, etc. They’re easy to pause and hit play again, merely by tapping on a button on the left headphone area.I also have mismatched ear-canal sizes, and I find that these are vastly more comfortable than even my other favorite headphones, the Powerbeats Pro.This pair may seem pricey, but I find that they are vastly superior– on top of virtually no noise bleed that you get with conductive headphones at higher volumes, they battery life is amazing. I can literally wear this all day, listening to podcasts and then workouts or whatever.Another huge benefit, one of the weak points in other bone conduction headphones, are the bespoke chargers for them. My last Shokz required buying generic chargers to replace the one they came with– these take just regular USB-C, and on top of that, they charge amazingly quickly. I’d estimate you can go from low battery to full in about 20 minutes at most.The fit is amazingly secure. I’ve literally forgotten I was wearing these while doing Krav Maga practice, which includes jumping jacks, summersaults, punching drills.I’ve even worn them in the shower (for brief periods, it doesn’t recommend this, but it’s worked– just make sure you seal the USB-C port with the rubber stopper). Rain doesn’t do a thing to them.The signal strength is also very strong for a pair of Bluetooth headphones. I can walk about 30 feet away until the signal starts to degrade, and I’ve down laundry downstairs with my phone upstairs in my room and I still get a clear signal.So far as call quality– I will say it’s a weak spot with these headphones. You can hear fine, but the microphone will really pic up a lot of background noise, such as wind and background conversations.

You alone will know why an open ear headset might be something youâd want. So let me just focus on the function of these.Battery life is epic. I mean all day. I use them all day a lot of the time.Comfort is excellent. As I said, sometimes I wear them all day. I barely know they are there. In fact, sometimes I forget they are there.sizing is something we need to talk about. I am 6 feet tall and have a normal sized head I suppose and the mini ones fit me perfectly. I also have short hair so keep that in mind. The reason this is important is because the standard ones might give me a little more freedom without getting tight. I really donât care about that because the minis allow me to sit in a chair without being uncomfortable when I put my head against the pillow. They can also be used in bed. In fact, sometimes I sleep all night long with these on, and they are still there when I wake up. If you can wear the mini and have a little bit of distance between your neck and head and you donât have to look up a lot, get the mini! Otherwise get the standard ones and be aware that you probably wonât be able to put the back of your head against anything without removing them.Yes, you can pull them down and put them around your neck and they will stay there until you are ready to put them back over your ears.The sound is excellent. Especially once you download the app and boost the base a little. That is the essential feature of these with the extra speakers. However, they work just fine without the extra speakers as long as you were fine with a little treble. Since I normally listen. to podcasts, it doesnât matter to me. I am just listening to some personâs voice most of the time. However, if you use them in the classic mode, which means you are just getting the bone conduction, be aware that when you turn it up to a higher volume, you may feel some buzzing on your temples.I suppose I could look up the IP rating for these. I donât know what it is. But Iâve worn them in the rain and not had any difficulties.USB-C charging is clutch!And I saved the best for last. The microphone call quality and noise, cancellation or voice isolation is really top notch. I mean, handset quality. I really prefer using these for telephone calls over AirPod earphones. These things blocked out a crowing rooster! I mean, wow!iâve been using them for a few months and they seem to be pretty durable. No problems. The case that they come in is very nice and they charge quickly. I really donât have a downside for these except maybe it would be nice to have the microphone extension Like the other model. But then again, the voice quality on these is so good. I donât think I need it and that would just be something else in the way.I got these on sale. I donât know what they cost right now. But if it is within your budget and you are considering them, just hit the buy button because they were great.

Also vorweg: Ich war sehr unsicher, ob ich diesem “Knochenschall-Technologie”-Thema Glauben schenken sollte. Habe dann den kleinen und den Standard-groÃen Kopfhörer zum Test geholt.Fazit vorab: Ich bin begeistert! Die Technologie funktioniert blendend. Tragekomfort nicht zu stoppen, da freie Ohren. Akkulaufzeit viele viele Stunden (nach 5 Tagen mit 2-3 Stunden Streaming jeden Tag Imme noch bei Akkustand 80%. Absolut zu empfehlen.Zur GröÃe: Mein Partner hat einen kleinen Kopf, für ihn ist die kleiner Variante perfekt. Ich habe immer gröÃte Motorradhelm-GröÃe und bei mir ist die normale GröÃe perfekt. Hinweis: Der Ring hinter dem Kopf sollte nicht direkt anliegen, auch nicht beim Kopf in den Nacken. Denn sonst stört das den Sitz.Akkulaufzeit: ich habe letzt 4 Tage à 2 Stunden Streaming hinter mir und es sind 80% Akkuladung. Hält also ewig.Tragekomfort: Ich bin Hörgeräte-Träger und daher sind die Geräte perfekt. Hörgeräte bleiben drin und die Shokz sind darunter und schallen über den Knochen. Sie sind quasi nicht spürbar.Bedienung: Unkompliziert mit zwei Tasten: Ein/Aus/lauter und leiser.Kopplung: Problemlos. Die Shokz können sogar mit zwei Geräten gekoppelt werden. Auswahl über App. Es geht Imme nur ein Gerät.App: Gut gemacht. Gut zu bedienen.Profile: Ich habe für TV / Movie /Hörbücher auf “Sprache” umgestellt, das macht Stimmen noch mal deutlich klarer. Die anderen Profile habe ich noch nicht benutzt.SchweiÃbeständigkeit / Sport: Mein Partner ist damit seinen üblichen 10km gelaufen. Er ist begeistert. Musik und Podcasts sehr gut und laut genug zu hören.Fazit: Ich habe lange nach solchen Kopfhörern gesucht. Wir hatten alles schon durch an Sportkopfhörern. Keiner hat was getaugt. Die Shokz sind die ersten die alle Ansprüche erfüllen. Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.Ach ja: Ich bin mit dem Hersteller nicht verhandelt, noch hat er mich gebeten, einen Kritik zu schreiben. Ich bin einfach nur begeistert und möchte das mit Euch teilen.

Cuffie fantastiche, leggerissime e con un ottimo suono. Ovviamente non si possono paragonare a delle cuffie in ear, ma si sente davvero bene. Una volta indossate dopo 5 minuti ti scordi di averle addosso. Ottima anche la batteria. Ero scettico sulla misura, e per fortuna alla fine ho preso le mini perché bastano e avanzano.

Item is very good and I use it every single day, somehow, the power button failed to work. I contacted the vendor for the warranty. Without any questions and drama, they arranged the pickup and delivery. After a couple of days, I received a brand new item in unopened box.
