Great compact coffee maker…small, fast – makes just one cup at a time, but second cup can be made immediately after (no need to let it cool between brews. Definitely maxes out at 12 oz. per cup; temperature at drinking temp – not real hot!  Love the idea that it can use both grounds or a pod. Two hints.. When using grounds, i run a bit of water through the strainer before filling with the grounds. It seems to keep some residual out of the brewed coffee. Second hint: when finished, take a paper towel and wipe around bottom of the “well” where the grounds or pod goes, to keep it clean. (My previous similar maker seemed to accumulate a coating of coffee over a period of time. I’m gonna start clean with this one.)

Why did you pick this product vs others?:For a cheap single-cup coffee maker, it’s pretty decent. Does a better job than the ones I’ve had in-room at most hotels. Brew comes out a little weak (even at 6oz), but that’s what you sacrifice for speed. Single point deducted for shoddy design; it’s awkward to pour water into and there’s always some left over coffee in the k-cup container that will either slowly drip out or dry in place, you’ve got to wipe it out every single time–a problem easily solved by just making the bottom a funnel instead of flat.

Portable, Inexpensive Alternative to Other Machines
This small pod coffee brewer works great, with no problems or delays with multiple successive uses on the same day. It is a great alternative to the more expensive pod brewers. It is easily portable, and uses generic and name brand pods.

Luke warm water
Very disappointed with this little coffee maker, that was hoping it would of worked out for my use only. I filled the basked with my own coffee grounds of Columbian coffee. After the coffee came out of the maker, it was LUKE WARM & not strong at all. Thank goodness, that I was allowed to return it, because was hoping that it wouild of replaced my regular coffee pot, the Black & Decker 5 cup maker. Anyway, will re-order another 5 cup coffee maker, which cost a lot less too. The ONLY way I’ll be changing to the newer unit pods/coffee maker, if I could afford to spend more money on one of the top named brands maker.

So far it works great!It’s smaller than the $20. Walmart MainStays one, which lasted about 3 years. The $20 Walmart MainStays one wasn’t in stock at 3 different stores (of course), so I got this one, and don’t mind spending the extra few dollars because of the fast shipping ð»ð¨

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This coffee maker makes great coffee BUT it also makes a horrible mess on your counter. Yes, I do realize there’s an easy solution to that but it’s annoying. It sputters and spits the water out.

Works great , does the job just make sure you add a little bit more water than you think you want , it seemed like not as much came out as what it measured at when I poured in , not sure if measurements are off. But for price this was worth it . Conveniently and easy to use.
