Yes! I have been looking for this.
We used to have a 4 ghz set of these. They were effing rad! We hooked them up to our ac devices around our poorly air conditioned house to have some at the fingertips Clare control. However…We changed our internet, and hooking them up to the 4ghz internet that was still operating, but not locatable, became too much of a challenge even after searching for YouTube video after YouTube video.I snagged this because it was (unfortunately) the cheapest on the market at the time, because I really did miss that ease of control for at least the bedroom. Other 5ghz plugs are curaaazy expensive? And all they are capable of is hooking up the the Alexa app. Ugh. I don’t have Alexa. (I won’t turn this into an Alexa rant sesh I just wont; even though God help you if you have a speech impedement.) And while I do hate that I can’t get a nicely priced four pack, I am glad I found this semi-affordable one that ACTUALLY WORKS.I was able to hook it up to the 5g internet super easily. It works really well. It hooked up to the Google smart home app with ease. And I couldn’t be happier.

Connecting the Eight Tree Smart Outlet to my 5GHz network was easy using the Smart Life App. To get the device to connect to Google Home (“Hey Google”), Open your Google Home App, Add Device, choose Works with Google Home, select Smart Life (not Eight Tree!) and then Google Home will link Smart Life and recognize the Eight tree Smart Outlet. Would have given the Eight Tree Smart Outlet 5 stars except for complete lack of instructions on how to connect the Smart Life App to Google Home.

EIGHTREE Smart Plug Works Perfect
For about 3 years I had another brand. It worked most of the time. But almost every time the WiFi went out I would go days without being able it turn my light on in my home office. About a month ago I once again had issues getting it to connect to the WiFi. I looked online for that same outlet, and quickly learned the problem. Most modern WiFi setups default to 5G. Most Smart Outlets do not.EIGHTREE’s Smart Plug does. I ordered it, and the setup was relatively simple. It’s been a few months, I’ve had to reboot my modem a few times, something that usually triggered the old smart plug, but this one, just has no issues so far staying connected because it can connect to both 2.4G or 5G. I highly recommend this smart plug.

Timers stopped working
Worked fine for about 6 weeks, then stopped turning kn and off based on my timers. I added routines through Alexa. Worked for one day and not since. It will turn on and off if I tell Alexa to do it, but not automatically at the times I set.Auto timers are a security measure. Thatâs why we bought the plug.Very unhappy about this.

No tuve problema para darlo de alta en la app de Smart Life y con el nuevo modem de telmex que ya no son compatibles con la frecuencia 2.4 GHz, éste que es de 5 GHz funcionó sin problema. Le doy 4 estrellas porque no me gusto mucho como tiene programado las notificaciones y aunque si me avisa cuando suceden los eventos que programé en el app de que se prenda o apague, me aparece la notificación como error del “device and network ” en lugar de la notificación como las que mandan otros aparatos que indican que se prendió o apagó el enchufe.Fuera de eso no he tendido problemas.

Best smart plug I have purchased. Easy peasy to install, good app. This smart plug is packed with features and itâs 5 ghz wifi. Plug does have timer, countdown, schedule and circulation for fans. ðððð I would like to see a 5 ghz hygrometer/ Temperature probe from this company, small form factor
