Awesome Buy -Works Great!
Works great and easy to install. The app is easy to use -the app has lots of extra features that I won’t use, but the part that I do use is user-friendly. I appreciate that this is the same quality as Nest or Ecobee but cost much less without losing any functionality. Great buy and its already made life easier!

Very hot in the house
Smart thermostat stopped working the day the Amazon warranty for return came.I canât get a replacement, only can buy a new one. Very unhappy.

Smarter than we are thermostat, almost plug and play
1: In Action: Very nice appearance. App is easy to work with. We admit we are not great with smart home stuff and this kind of thing needs to be super simple. Because who needs another app or another thing to go out when wifi goes down. However with bills as high as they are we want more control over when the heat or cool runs, so we will get through the learning curve. Despite that it is reasonably intuitive and once you have it wired just press a few buttons and you have it working.2: Why do we want it? Keep bills down.3: Unboxing: Comes in a high end box with great instructions, Q code etc.4: Instructions: Remove your old thermostat and plug the wires into this one. We had to jump the hot and cool.Pros: Fairly intuitive.Cons: If you have bad eyesight like we do the lack of a tactile button means turning something up or down without eyeglasses is a challenge. And we do this a lot at night.

Control temperature while you are away
First note that you must have a “c” wire (blue) in your thermostat wiring that is powered, or you will need some sort of power adapter to go with this. My “c” wire had no power at the thermostat, but a quick check at the actual furnace found that the wire only needed to be connected there for it to work for my setup. Once the wiring was right, it came up and was easy to connect to the SmartLife app. It works to be able to control heat and cooling, though I only have the heat side. It would be nice to be able to just set it to be a “heat only” system, but it doesn’t seem to have a setting for that, so I just ignore all the areas related to cooling I guess.I have set up schedules, and I really love that I can check the temperature and change settings even when I am away from home.The look is sleek and modern with a mirrored face and large back-plate that should cover most any paint gaps an older thermostat may have left behind.I also really like that I can lock the settings or set minimum and maximums in the app, so if I have guests, they can’t get crazy with the temperature at the thermostat box. I would highly suggest this to anyone thinking about doing short term rentals or similar.

Havenât got to use it yet, purchased for a rent house. However, this is a replacement for the first one I ordered and they both have scratched all over the screens. I will post video. Arrives with protective screen, looks used.

Is not supported by Home Assistant.
For a smart Thermostat, it is lacking. There does not seem to be a way to make the fan run when the Heat or AC are off. Second, and crucially, it is not supported by the Home Assistant Tuya integration. What’s the point of a Tuya thermostat if you can not integrate it with HA or Tuya offline.

Solid Nest Alternative with a Clean Look
This thermostat is a great pick if you are looking to get away from bigger brand ecosystems. It works just as well as the Google Nest in my experience but without forcing you into a Google account. Setup was smooth and the app makes scheduling easy and flexible. It is also easy to share control with other users which is a nice touch if you have family or roommates.The screen looks sleek but the touch controls can be a bit finicky. You have to tap the right area since there is no backlight when it is in standby mode, which makes adjusting it in the dark a bit tricky. Highly recommended
Very impressed with the thermostat. First off it looks nice. I love that it has a sleek design and enhances my decor unlike the one it replaced that stuck out like a sore thumb. Installed in 15 minutes and had no trouble with the app. Entire install process was 30 minutes tops. I’ve had it about ten days as I wanted to see how well it would function over time and I’m pleased to say I have had no issues. I love the schedule, I believe it will help my electric bill. I think it was an excellent value for the money and I highly recommend it.
