    Awesome TV
Replaced Highsense TV with this Sony.  Sony may be a little more expensive than other brands, but it is well worth it.  Outperforms Highsense by 1000%.

Decent price and quality for a large tv
Exactly what we were hoping for and for a fairly reasonable price! Clear picture, decent enough sound for a smallish room, we’re very pleased.

Sony 65” Bravia 2 II with mostly positive features
Getting a new television, especially one that’s a brand that’s not one you’ve previously owned, is a mixed bag. Usually a newer tech item will have some impressive features but also a learning curve. So I waited to review this television until I had used it for long enough that the novelty had worn off and the learning challenges were mostly mastered. The setup was not difficult but did, of course, take some time. If you can take advantage of free setup I highly recommend it as it definitely takes two people to do the physical part safely. There are good directions in the top of the box.The technical setup can be quite fast if you don’t read what you need to agree to in the different areas. I don’t automatically agree to everything with new tech, so that part was time-consuming. One frustration for me was that while quite a few streaming services were pre-installed and could be readily accessed, certain major ones were not. In order to install them I had to agree to Google TV, which I didn’t want to do. It does work smoothly and hasn’t been annoying so far. The directions weren’t bad, but I found it easier to learn a lot of the functions through trial and error. There are a few positives I’d like to share. The first is that a lot of things are much easier to work with than I expected. For example, downloading and setting up remote control from my phone was simple, and while I’ll mainly use the regular remote I like having a backup. I’m still becoming accustomed to the remote. I like its light weight, but its buttons seem rather cramped and are not all in locations that I would have placed them in. A backlight would have been helpful so I don’t have to turn on a light to be sure I’m pushing the right button. The sound is much better than I expected. I was prepared to buy a soundbar but am finding the regular sound to be more than adequate. I don’t play a lot of video games and don’t need the bass to rattle my teeth during movies, but those who do may still want one.I’m happy that it picks up channels from my antenna very well so far. And lastly, it’s a little thing in the big picture (pun intended), but I really enjoy the beautiful screensaver photos that come on when it’s paused for a while. I’ve attached photos of two examples.

    Awesome TV!
It has been many years since I have owned a Sony TV, or any Sony product for that matter. My prior experience with them was always top-notch. I’m sure increased competition and lowering acceptable quality/price point has something to do with it, but I recall Sony being a brand above others. The overall experience is Great. Picture quality is awesome, . The backlight is bright on Vibrant mode, my only knock would be that the color definition is lacking compared to Samsung, but at the price-point compared to Samsung, it’s worth the difference.Viewing angle is pretty typical for this size TV, so no complaints there.Google’s operating system is not the best, it’s response on this TV is slow compared to Roku, but it’s adequate. Most Apps load in an acceptable amount of time, such as Youtube TV, but the general navigation is slower than I’d like. Also, the remote control is very responsive and easy to use.The picture & sound quality are great, what I’d expect for a 65 Inch TV that operates at 60 Hz. There are many good features for adjusting both picture and sound, so you can make the picture and sound what you want.Overall, love this TV and would definitely recommend at this price point.

    Amazing!
This TV is without a doubt the best TV ever owned. I haven’t had a new TV for some years so I am quite impressed with this one. I’ve always been a Sony fan, so perhaps I’m slightly biased, but I’ve had no issues with this one and it looks great. It’s more like a computer than my last one was, so there is some delay in booting up and I don’t like that, but it’s probably about the same any any other internet connected tv.It displays an informative background, which feels like a Windows desktop. I’m not necessarily interested in it always looking different, I wish it was just a nice background but instead they’re putting up something from their digital network, advertising a movie or tv show. I guess that’s a price you pay for the app and digital media connectivity.Hooking it up was quite simple. Connections are straightforward, and the remote control is easy to use.
