4 months in; bad hardware issues
Have had this controller for 4 months now. At first was playing beautifully with it. However, over the last month I began having numerous connection issues. At first I thought it was the cable I was using. The disconnection issues seemed to stop briefly after using a new cable but started up again. Now, I am dealing with a flashing red light from the controller (which apparently means its a hardware issue according to what I’ve read online), and when I am able to get the controller to work, the track pad has completely stopped working. I have tried, multiple times, to follow online instructions to trouble shoot (resetting, turning off – waiting – turning back on, etc) and nothing has worked.Too bad this didn’t start happening within the return window, because this controller is defective and now I need to spend the money, again, on a new one.

Thank you for sending a brand new controller and not a used controller. I got what I payed for.One of my biggest fears of buying a new controller is receiving a non-official Sony controller, non-official usually are 90% of the time not optimized for PS4/ps5/series xI will elaborate, non official controllers will receive your input a bit late or a bit too soon. And sometimes the buttons are sticky or far apart.For example, when you press X to kick a football, the console received the input entry 1 sec late, by that time, the opposing team will counter.Need for speed or Forza, the console will receive the input late and you will mess up your Drift, or shift.Fortunately for me, the controller i received is Brand New official Sony controller. I’m thankful and relieved!The box was undamaged and unopened.The package was undamaged.The controller is clean, its snow white shade is perfect, has grip texture, buttons are functional, triggers are working.

Este mando me llegó con una fall, el joystick derecho fallaba, pero se me olvidó devolverlo asà que me lo quedé, después de dos dÃas de fallas el control funcionó perfectamente, de vez en cuando falla pero vuelve a la normalidad, mandos anteriores fallaban y dejaban de funcionar, este solo lo tengo que resetear y listo.

Decided to purchase an authentic PS4 controller because the 3rd party knockoffs all have some problem. Either the controls don’t work properly or there is drift or they were non-responsive. The Sony controller is guaranteed to work properly. I could have bought a used controller but prefer my electronics new because I know it hasn’t been abused and that the battery is fresh. I love the Glacier White color, it looks great. Highly recommended, stick with an authentic controller and you can’t go wrong!
