Surprisingly Powerful Sound in a Compact Size!
I wasn’t expecting much given the size and price, but this soundbar absolutely blew me away! Setup was super easy, I used HDMI ARC and had it connected to my TV in minutes. The sound quality is clear and surprisingly powerful for a 16-inch unit. It handles everything from movies to gaming and music without any distortion, even at higher volumes.If you’re looking for an affordable, space-saving sound upgrade, this one is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Decent Little Soundbar
I recently mounted a 24″ TV over a basement workbench, and I wanted something that would provide better volume and fidelity than the tiny, tinny little speakers that were built into the TV. I wanted something that would be smaller than the TV and not outlandishly expensive, and something that I could easily mount to a piece of flat bar in a custom made fixture. This Littoak sound bar caught my eye for all of those reasons.Since I’d be watching the TV from an angle, and not from a location directly in front of it, I also wanted the sound bar to be located in the same plane as the TV, so that that sound would not appear to be disconnected from the images on the TV screen. I solved this problem by using a gate hinge and fabricating a piece of flat bar aluminum to attach to the hinge. On the flat bar, I drilled holes and mounted pan head screws that would slide into the 2 wall mounts that are located on the back of the Littoak soundbar. It worked perfectly!I could move the TV’s articulating wall mount to the viewing location that I preferred, and I also installed an interference screw into the gate hinge to allow me to position the sound bar above the TV, at just the right place. The photos show how it turned out.The soundbar has Bluetooth, HDMI, analog, USB, optical, and digital coax inputs, as well as a jack for DC power. The remote is small and minimal, but it has everything that’s needed for efficient operation of the soundbar. I’m using the digital coax input for audio from the TV. In order to hear the audio from the soundbar, I had to go into the TV’s audio menu and set the audio output to PCM. There is plenty of volume from the soundbar…enough to drive me out of the basement, if I wished…and the fidelity is good. It’s not home theater type sound, but it has a full range and does not sound boomy or tinny. Way, WAY better than the TV’s built in speakers.If I were spending money to install a 55″ or larger TV and wanted to use a soundbar, I’d look for something more deluxe and refined. But, for a down and dirty little TV in a kitchen, bedroom or work area, this is a huge increase in sound quality and well worth the money.

Capable Little Speaker
Right out of the box I was impressed with the multiple connectivity options to include HDMI, optical, USB, Aux, RCA and Bluetooth. I tested each of these options with the exception of the optical output and all functioned well and were immediately connected. Your purchase includes both an optical and Aux cord which was impressive. No HDMI or USB cords are included. A power cord is included and is typical of the size of most electronics in this class at 1.75″ x 2.75″Bluetooth functions well and gives the user the ability to control everything required with the included remote from across the room to include volume, bass, treble, mute, pause, mode (movie, music, and dialog preferences) and fwd and reverse songs in a source like Spotify. I found this to work well but it does appear to be IR not RF so line of site is required to perform remote functions. That said the IR function worked easily at a distance of 40LF which was the max distance I tested. An LED indicator on the front of the unit blinks with each corresponding push of the buttons on the remote and blinks in blue for BT connection.The included instructions were typical of import electronics and included diagrams for connections and had me up and going in a couple of minutes. It is plug and play. Once plugged in or connected to BT any desired changes are easily made with the intuitive included remote. There are physical buttons on the right side of the sound bar for power, FWD, REV and BT pairing without the remote.I measured the size of the bar at 16.125″ wide x 3″ tall x 4″ deep. This was a bit smaller than I expected based on the picture and what I am used to seeing in sound bars. That said the size was actually a bonus as It does not take up as much room as others especially when using on a desk or small TV table. The unit can be wall mounted with the included mollies and screws.I would describe the sound quality as surprisingly good relative to the size of the sound bar. The highs are crisp and present all volume levels. The bass is slightly better than what I expected for the small form factor, but like all sound bars would really need to be paired with a subwoofer to reach those floor rumbling bass frequencieswhich can only be achieved through size and physics. Thus far I have mainly listed to music and I would describe the sound as pleasant and balanced with enough bass to satisfy. The bass is present but not overpowering. All of the sound remains consistent at both high and low volume levels. I was able to irritate my wife one floor below on a mid-range volume setting which I considered to be pretty impressive for 16″ long speaker. While playing LOW by Flo Rida at a distance of three feet I recorded an average of 64.4db with a maximum 79.2db with little or no distortion.The question will really come down to what you are willing to pay for. For the $60.00 price tag it is a great value and I would not hesitate to recommend it. For the picky audiophile you may be left wanting more, but for what this is designed to be and do I think this sound bar is a great value, will easily fit in a small space and sounds bigger than it is.
