From a hearing Impaired User – The best portable Speaker I’ve ever used, period!
I have poor hearing and use high quality hearing devices.I’ve purchased and tried other portable high end speakers including the BOSE MINI II, a pair of Apple Mini pods, a Phillips and a HP bluetooth speaker. Even a bookshelf stereo system.While the Bose MINI II has decent audio for its small profile, it does not come close to to the full range of audio as perceived by me. The mini bookshelf system was so-so over all for audio quality; especially dialog.I struggle with dialog (spoken or sung) as well as higher frequencies and in the past vocals, the twang of guitar (acoustic or electric), violins and other string instruments were a challenge to hear fully across the frequency range.I read several non-Amazon reviews on this Anker model and all of them gave it the highest ratings including one website calling it, “the portable speaker of the year”!You may ask, how good can a review be from a person who does not hear well.My response to a question like that is, if I can hear low, medium and high frequencies now on this Anker (using my hearing devices of course) as well as the words of spoken or sung of both male and female, imagine how good this will sound to those with no or a minimal hearing loss.This is the first speaker for me that is so easy to hear for lows, mids and higher frequencies. The twang of a guitar, the beat of a drum or a Bass Guitar and most importantly dialog, lyrics, and beautiful voices of singing that all come through on this!The Soundcore app works quite well on my iPhone and iPad. I enjoy the equalizer preset settings which work well under most circumstances, but, having the ability to custom tailer all of the frequencies and save them under a custom name are a blessing for me. The app gives you full access for tweaking all frequencies and saving as many as needed for future use!I’ve got some older music CDs ripped for streaming and a few of them actually sound far better using my custom settings then the pre-sets in this App. I will say again that the pre-sets seem to work well for most listening though. The default setting called “balanced” works well for me. Sometimes turning on the enhanced BASS setting is needed, but, if a piece of music is heavy on the BASS, I turn it off and still have sufficient BASS for that track. Dialog often does -not- need the enhanced BASS turned on because human voices are typically in the middle frequency ranges, not lower where deeper BASS is. Voices even without enhanced BASS on are fine for fullness and depth (they sound realistic).As for build quality, the outer casing for this Anker Motion Boom Plus is solid and well made. The speaker grills are heavy gauge and the lugs where you attached the strap are solidly made of metal!Given the excellent reviews by the PROs (CNET, etc) on line for this Anker model as well as the many 5 star Amazon reviews and other websites by owners/users, …..honestly,…none of them are inflated. The high ratings exist for a reason, this speaker is exceptional!This “boom box” offers some exceptional audio quality along with clear dialog and very sufficient BASS and if it works for me being hearing impaired, as I said, it will work even better for those who do not suffer any hearing loss.My only regret now is that I did not buy a pair to pair of them to use together in Bluetooth as left and right stereo and I will be ordering a second one soon to do just that!5 Stars all around, I’m so delighted to have finally found a portable sound system that I can hear so very well no matter what I am streaming to it! The App alone deserves 5 stars and it is a vital asset for those wishing to fine tune their audio experiance.

Excellent sound quality and projection, unbeatable portability, and good battery life ~2 years in
These are extremely high-quality small speakers! I’ve had em for just under two years now, and they are a perfect remote speaker set to live by my bedside, as I love to listen to music and podcasts in bed. I really really appreciate the sound quality and projection of these speakers, and that was the prime motivator for my purchase – they have excellent sound reproduction and balance across the spectrum, even and including bass, but they don’t massively overemphasize bass like many other portable speakers attempt to do. I also have the Soundcore Motion X600 in my bathroom, and that is a great piece of kit as well also with particularly excellent sound quality. Battery life for the Soundcore Anker MBP appears great, although I do keep this plugged in all the time since it’s just used as a remote speaker.Just a few small quirks that are worth noting: It’s relatively very simple to setup, but do be warned that if you pair both your computer AND your smartphone as sound sources, the Soundcore Anker MBP will *always* attempt to pair with your phone and play music from it by default when you turn the speaker on. The other thing to note is that every once in a while, the audio playback will sound very garbled when you first turn it on – but when that happens, I just power the Soundcore off then on again and it works perfectly once again.My ONLY real abiding gripe, and the reason my *real* rating would be 4.75, is that NONE OF THESE UNITS CAN TURN ON REMOTELY. THEY DON’T COME WITH REMOTES, AND BLUETOOTH CANNOT ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE THEM EITHER. There’s absolutely no excuse for that in the year of our lord 2025 – especially not when the small Sony Wi-Fi speakers that these Soundcores replaced had remote controls and those were manufactured around *2005!* Also, you can’t play the same content simultaneously across multiple speakers, but that wasn’t a huge need for me.One more flag is that if you’re playing audio from a Windows computer, you will need to seek out open-source apps to let you dynamically switch your audio outputs without digging through menus (for example, when switching audio from your main computer speakers to this Soundcore MBP). I use AudioSwitch on Windows 11, in case anyone reading this is looking for a similar solution – and that one works pretty perfectly once you set it up properly for your computer.In conclusion: If you’re looking for a portable speaker, you will likely NOT find better-quality sound or a more truly-portable form factor anywhere else. Just know that if you’re setting it as a permanent remote speaker, you’ll have to be prepared to climb over whatever furniture this is hiding behind to turn it on or off!

Love this speaker !
I really like this speaker! Itâs loud the battery is long lasting and it will hold a charge for a couple days ! Soundcore is a wonderful company I did have an issue with the battery Iâm not sure if it was defective but it didnât happen until 6 months and at that point it was to late to go through Amazon but soundcore took care of everything for me I received a new one 2 days later after calling them! And it was a relief because the speaker is not cheap! Itâs great quality it comes with a strap and metal hooks on the side that are durable and wonât just snap off , the strap makes it easy to travel with ! We took it to the beach we take it everywhere on every vacation! There is no problem hooking it up to Bluetooth on your phone it also has a way to charge your phone from the speaker if you need to. Overall I think the speaker is great ! It is easy to use it is quality for the money itâs waterproof itâs everything you need for a speaker ! And most important the sound is awesome and itâs super loud!!! I would buy another one if I needed to !

(Mà J après plus d’un an :Je confirme tous mes commentaires élogieux, je ne regrette pas un instant mon achat! Mais 2 éléments importants à souligner si vous hésitez:1/ il faut ABSOLUMENT passer par qqs réglages sur l’égaliseur (intégré à l’application), au risque d’être très déçu par le rendu sonore sinon. Pas besoin d’être ingénieur du son pour ça, c’est très intuitif. Une fois l’égaliseur sélectionné (un des 4 proposés -un peu bofs-, ou un que vous aurez créé ,et vous pouvez en créer et en enregistrer un bon nombre de différents), soit vous ne vous en occupez plus du tout, soit vous pouvez toujours facilement en changer et/ou l’affiner depuis l’appli (sur téléphone donc) tout en continuant à diffuser le son depuis une autre source (l’ordi dans mon cas), très pratique. C’est un point important à prendre en compte si c’est pour offrir à qqn pas très à l’aise avec ces notions, ce que j’ai fait avec une autre enceinte de la marque : il faut prévoir de faire ces réglages pour la personne lors de la mise en route.2/ la diffusion du son est nettement directionnelle et il faut bien prendre en compte l’endroit où l’enceinte sera posée par rapport à l’endroit d’où vous l’écoutez.Fin de mise à jour!)Ãquipement d’une qualité acoustique indéniable et au prix hyper contenu pour ce niveau de performance.Habituée des petites enceintes type JBL flip pour un usage quotidien polyvalent, la soundcore est mon premier achat d’une enceinte bluetooth vraiment puissante et dédiée à la musique.Ce qui m’a décidée pour ce modèle, après de longues recherches :- son prix (161e avec coupon 10% d’Amazon) rapporté à ses caractéristiques (effectivement, à caractéristiques équivalentes chez Sony ou JBL , il faut compter facilement le double!)-sa prise jack (absente sur sa version antérieure)-la possibilité d’ajuster les réglages via l’égaliseur intégré à l’application. Utilisant principalement mon PC comme source et l’appli n’existant pas pour ordinateur, j’ai été très agréablement surprise de constater que je pouvais faire mes réglages via mon téléphone, puis tout éteindre et déconnecter et retrouver les réglages en place en redémarrant l’enceinte pour l’utiliser ensuite avec l’ordinateur ! Personnellement, le son me semble excellentissime mais je laisserai les spécialistes expliquer en quoi…- sa puissance se révèle à la hauteur des promesses : je n’ai même pas osé la pousser à fond pour tester car tout l’immeuble aurait tremblé !- elle est étonnamment légère pour sa taille- je n’ai pas testé l’autonomie jusqu’au bout mais après 3 jours d’usage (5~6h/jour) à volume modéré (dans une pièce de 15m2 tout en travaillant ), la batterie affiche encore 70% disponible !Quoiqu’il arrive, comme elle peut fonctionner sur secteur, l’autonomie n’est même pas un véritable souci pour usage intérieur !- son aspect robuste , ainsi que le plastique rigide et lisse , n’en font peut-être pas l’objet le plus design ou élégant mais au moins je n’ai as peur de l’abîmer à chaque manipulation ou que mon chat fasse ses griffes sur le maillage du filet (pas sûre que ce soit le terme technique, désolée)… et c’est un plus pour moi!En bref, je suis ravie de mon achat, rassurée par la garantie en cas de pépin et j’ai la sensation que je ne suis pas prête de regretter mon acquisition !

à un prodotto eccellente!Da me pagato 90 ⬠con il prime day, si dimostra al di la delle mie aspettative, preciso che avevo acquistato 2 mesi fa il tribit storm blast 2 ,ed ero rimasto impressionato dalla potenza e profondità dei bassi.Tuttavia il soundcore emotion plus si dimostra all’altezza in un relativo confronto alla stessa potenza, con il vantaggio di essere più equilibrato nella gestione delle frequenze, il suono è più chiaro ,brillante! I medi e gli alti si sentono e l’immagine musicale è più ricca, i bassi non sono profondi come quelli del tribit (come ci si aspetterebbe)..che sono a livello di un subwoofer ..ma sono altrettanto potenti e incisivi. Ne ho acquistati 3! uno per un regalo e 2 per me da usare in coppia. Lo consiglio vivamente!

The quality is very high, even for refurbished models. The value for what you get is seemingly too good to be true, with roughly 9 hours of battery life at full volume, and an extremely loud and full of bass sound, this thing can be heard from over 100m away!The sound is rich and powerful, and vibrations can be felt across the room. It is relatively light for its size, however can easily be slung over a shoulder or carried in a backpack. I have actually bought an extra since, and use them paired in wireless mode giving a very nice performance.The sound quality is surprisingly enjoyable across a range of genres however some consider it to give a âboomierâ sound, it will not compete with any higher end and considerably more expensive and large portable speakers such as the JBL party box 710, but is on par with the JBL party box 310, albeit slightly quieter.After pairing two together however, itâs unbeatable for the price and is louder, nicer sounding and far more portable when you factor in its size and stereo sound mode.I have used this product both Indoors, for outdoor social events, and even for parties with multiple connected together, in fact we were visited by security due to the speakers shaking the walls!I highly recommended this product for anyone who wants a loud, deep and easily portable speaker!I highly recommend this product, and assure you that you will be very impressed!
