Best $30 pair of earbuds in existence!
These earbuds are amazing for the price (make sure to check the coupon checkbox to get them for $30)! Here are some pros and cons to keep things simple:Pros- The sound quality is very good, with punchy bass and solid quality all-around. I’m not an audiophile by any means, but these sound great to me. I did use the “bass reducer” profile in the app, though, because the default profile’s bass level was actually a bit too much for me.- Multipoint connectivity! If you didn’t know, this feature enables an audio device to connect to two devices via Bluetooth at the same time, so you can seamlessly switch between listening on two separate devices if the earbuds are connected to both. This is a total game changer for me, as I can use them on my phone when I’m away from my computer, walk up to my computer, and then play something on there without having to manually disconnect them from my phone and connect them to my computer. You can enable this feature in the Soundcore app by going to the Soundcore P30i settings, pressing the gear icon, and enabling “Dual Connections”.- Excellent battery life. These are advertised as lasting 10 hours on a charge without ANC on, and I usually got about 8 hours, which is still very good. They also charge super quickly in the case. ANC drops your battery life, but the advertised 6 hours on a charge with ANC is still solid.- Active noise cancelling (ANC). Seriously, how did they manage to include this on $30 earbuds, and what’s more, how is it so good?!? I have a hearing condition called misophonia that makes me sensitive to certain sounds like gas-powered leaf blowers, and I’m also autistic and sensitive to noise, and the ANC capability on these earbuds has completely changed my life for the better because it enables me to block out lawn care noise, plane noise, traffic noise, and so on, or at least greatly reduce their intensity. I can’t express how happy these earbuds make me in my day-to-day life due to knowing I have an easy solution in my pocket to any triggering noise.- The case looks and feels nice, and the earbuds stick back into their positions on the charging prongs within it with a nice click.- The Soundcore app is incredible. You can set premade EQ presets or create your own, tweak various earbud settings, remap the single tap, double tap, triple tap and tap and hold actions for the touchpads, and so much more. Everything just works and the UI is nice.Cons (all pretty minor things that I figured I’d still mention):- The fit isn’t the greatest, and they get loose sometimes when I’m eating or doing anything else involving a lot of jaw movement. They’re easy to readjust, though, and they’ve never outright fallen out of my ears, not even during bumpy bike rides.- There’s a slight delay between when you execute a single tap on the touchpad and when something happens. I suspect this may be because after a single tap, the earbuds are waiting to see if you’ll tap one or two more times for a double or triple tap respectively, which is understandable, but it’s still a bit annoying sometimes, considering my Samsung Galaxy Buds + didn’t do this.- My left ear gets very slightly sore after having them in for 5+ hours. It’s not bad at all, and that’s longer than I use them in a single session most of the time, but I figured I’d mention it anyway. And yes, I did try all the eartip sizes and still had this problem.- The stem design means you can’t sleep with these in if you’re a side sleeper like me and wanted to use them for that. I’d recommend something with a wingtip design like the Galaxy Buds + instead if you want a good pair of sleep buds.- They take a while to connect to your devices sometimes.- They only report their battery percentages to whichever device you’re connected to in 10% increments. It’d be nice to be able to see the battery percentage to the nearest 1% like with the Galaxy Buds +.- You can’t see how much battery the case has remaining until the light strip on the front flashes when you put the earbuds in.- The light bar on the case flashes green when the case is charging. This may be a problem for you if you like to charge your earbuds at night, but honestly, the battery life of both the buds themselves and the case is so good that you probably won’t need to do that. You could also cover it up with a sock or something overnight to block the light.Overall, I highly recommend these earbuds to anyone and everyone, and have already recommended them to a friend, a coworker, and a family member. I even bought two pairs, one for work and one for home use, they’re that good!

    Super impressed with these.
I’ve been using some old Galaxy ear buds for some time now and decided to upgrade. After almost spending a fortune on some Bose ear buds, I came across these Ankers. Knowing Anker’s reputation for making solid electronics, and after reading overwhelming positive reviews, I ordered a pair of these P30i ear buds and am blown away.Fitment-The fitment is perfect right out of the box and I felt no discomfort wearing them non-stop during a 3 1/2hr flight. I’m not even going to try the other rubber pieces as these seal the sound perfectly without causing irritation.Sound Quality-I did not try them before installing the SoundCore app and downloading a firmware update. Using the app’s sound settings, I customized it to my liking and was shocked how well these sound. Watching a movie on the plane almost feels like I’m getting theater sound. The quality of the sound has a rich depth to it, and it’s amazing how they figured out how to get so much bass of of these drivers.ANC-The active noise canceling is very good. It has three settings in the app and watching a movie during my flight, I turned the ANC off as a test. WOW, crazy loud aircraft noise, people talking, baby crying, and other distracting noises. Flipped ANC back on, noises all gone and my theater quality audio returned.Downside-The only bummer with these is they won’t charge wirelessly, more than likely due to the built-in stand that flips open from the bottom of the case. That’s okay, still receives 5 stars from me.I am super impressed with these. A couple days later they dropped to an even lower sale price so I bought a second pair as back up. Buy them, you won’t regret it.

    MISA!
My biggest concern with wireless earbuds is the bass response. That seems to be the part of the sound spectrum that is most difficult to get out of a small device, and my prior attempts at bluetooth earbuds have come up short. I found these on Amazon a few months back but held off. The price wasn’t right for the risk. But when they went on sale for $30 I jumped. So in my ears they went, attached to my phone. I queued up “Onset” by the world’s best rock band in order to put them to the acid test. The bass was booming, though one concern I had was that the bass seems to pop out of the mix as soon as I moved the volume up into the long-term-hearing-loss range. It doesn’t blow out the speakers, the bass just seems to be surgically removed. Perhaps in order to prevent damaging the drivers?A couple of notches shy of the top end of my phone’s volume bar is the sweet spot and to be frank the “thickness” of the sound being produced is sufficient to make reaching for the top end volume a non-issue. My wired earbuds need it, these Ankers do not. I’ve got full jam on, likely with less top-end sound. I’d love one more notch, but that’s not a showstopper, especially at $30.I held my opinion until the bass solo came in, and discovered that in spite of coming off of YouTube the sound was crisp, and big. I’ve not heard this big from any headphones, wired or otherwise any where near this price range. This was a YouTube recording via bluetooth, hardly an optimal source. But it was plenty big and plenty bassy. Not only that, but for the first time I discovered the drum line Akane was laying down on top of the solo was killer, something I had not heard in my 100 prior listenings. (To paraphrase Harvey Korman, “How does she do such fantastic stunts with such little feet?”) This is up-top treble; she’s all over the riders to not interfere with Misa’s bass and the broader sound coming out of the new buds pointed that out to me for the first time. The bigger drivers in these little buds are producing a better sound across the spectrum.I can’t speak to durability yet and I’ll confess that I’ve already dropped one onto the floor because I’ve got hot dogs for fingers. They’re a little slippery. But out of the box they’re doing what I want them to do, providing a rich display of music across a broad part of the audio spectrum. These aren’t going to provide the level of sound old fashioned can headphones will. But for my everyday use and for exercise they’re going to be ideal. For $30, I don’t think you’re going to do a whole lot better.

Quite probably the best earbuds I’ve ever bought at this price point. 10/10 for comfortability, sound, battery life & ANC (seriously good, really helps at home & in the office!). So far so brilliantly useful & reliable. Very impressive by Anker. Highly recommended. Although I mostly use the earbuds for blocking out surrounding noise & listening to music, the case has a second lid (on the bottom of the case) which opens out to form a handy phone holder. Works perfectly. Very clever idea.
