ZINC-COATED STEEL – The boxes are constructed of 16-gauge zinc-coated steel. The steel means they are built to take the abuse of bears or attempted theft, and the coating protects them from the elements, so you can get years of service and protection for your cameras.
MULTIPLE MOUNTING OPTIONS – The SB-500 has a hole in the front for the use of a padlock to keep anyone you don’t want to have access to the camera from getting to it. It also has holes in the side that are compatible with the SPYPOING steel cable lock. Additionally, the box has multiple mounting hole options in the back of the box that allow it to be mounted directly to a tree or post with screws or lag bolts.

They are compatible with Flex Dark no glow
These are great, I bought 2 for my 2 brand new flex dark no glow cameras and they work perfectly. (I know it states they are not compatible with flex dark but they fit perfect with my new flex dark no glow cameras). I have had them in the woods for 5 days now where I get zero cell phone reception and have had no problem at all with the cameras inside sending pictures and just did a firmware update over the phone for both cameras yeasterday.

Spypoint Flex Security box
Nice metal box used to protect my Flex S camera.. Used the rope lock passed through the front hole and locked to the tree.. Works very good that the box can be screwed to the tree.. Nice quality and looks good.

I use these because I live 10 hours away from where my cameras are and while it still wouldnât be hard to cut the lock I put on them it takes extra time and effort and so far it has done its job.

No mounting lag bolts
I ordered two different brands of boxes, two spy points, and two Moultrie boxes. The Moultrie boxes were heavier metal and came with lag bolts to secure them. The spy points were lighter metal, and no attaching hardware. Both will work to secure the cameras, but it was disappointing that for the price Spy point doesn’t include attaching hardware.
