The viral criss-cross chair is worth the hype
If you’ve been on TikTok for any length of time, you’ve probably seen videos of this chair (or similar) floating around. Now, I’m not the sort of person who usually buys anything just because it’s viral on social media, so when I needed a new chair for my desk, I almost gave this a pass. However, I am plus-sized and with most chairs, I either feel constricted due to how they’re constructed or like I’m spilling out of the seat, which is why I started seriously considering buying this chair in the first place. Add to that a friend telling me that he also had this chair, and that he loved the various ways he could sit in it, and, well, I decided it was worth giving it a try.Assembling the chair was fairly easy. That said, I did need another person to help me push the seat of the chair into the back to properly secure it. I don’t know if that’s because a part or two wasn’t shaped correctly or if that’s just how it’s supposed to be, but if it was an issue for me, it might be one for you, too.As for the chair itself, I sat in it and immediately wondered why I hadn’t let myself try it sooner.Now, if you’re looking for something with proper lumbar support, you’re going to be disappointed. This chair does not have that.What it DOES have, however, is ample room. I can sit in it and not feel like I’m spilling out of it.Moreover, this is probably one of the most stable chairs I’ve ever owned. As I’ve said before, I’m plus-sized, so chair stability is genuinely important to me. I want to make sure this chair isn’t going to break easily, and thus far, it’s held up to six months of extended daily use surprisingly well. Not only that, but I’m also the sort of person who’s inclined to contort myself into various positions when sitting at my desk. This chair is large enough and stable enough where I feel confident sitting in it however I like without worrying about whether or not the chair is going to break when I do so.I will say I feel like it could use some additional cushioning in the seat, or, at the very least, a little more padding. The chair isn’t nearly as cushioned as the pictures make it out to be. However, you almost don’t notice it when you’re sitting in it. I’ve found it to be surprisingly comfortable regardless. (I am planning on adding a pillow to it, though, so we’ll see if that changes anything.)If you’re a bigger person like myself, please consider getting this chair! I really don’t think you’d regret it.

easy to put together
It was pretty easy to put together. I am not very good at that, so I was surprised. It looks nice. Seems to be pretty comfy. I need it to sit all day while working remotely at my desk. Only had 2 days, so we will see how it goes. I was impressed that it was sturdy. It seems like a quality item. Not cheaply made. The instructions were easy to follow and it came with a handy tool for the screws.

Comfy criss-cross chair!
I bought the stationary version (non-rolling). Overall, it’s a very comfortable chair! I like the level of cushioning, and being able to sit with my legs crossed has helped my back a lot. It also seems pretty sturdy because my boyfriend (~230 lbs) was able to sit in it with no problems. Thanks to the clear instructions and video, I was able to put it together myself fairly easily.My only issue is that I wish it could raise up a little higher. My table and desk are both a bit high, and even at max height, the chair is too low for me to comfortably write or type for too long. This is on me, though, because I didn’t check the measurements before buying.

First I want to acknowledge the person that packed this chair. Everything was neatly wrapped and packed! Bravo! In my next life I think, Iâm going to be a furniture assembler! This chair was easy to assemble. The only challenging part was aligning the holes of the seat with the back of chair. If you have help it would be alot easier! I did it alone and have to sayâ¦.Iâm pretty proud of myselfâ¦for a 72 year young woman! Iâm very impressed with the quality, soft cushion and I really like the color. I didnât realize how wide the seat was but thatâs on me as I did not measure. The good news is thereâs enough room for meâ¦. and my cat and my dog! If youâre looking for a comfortable office chair, I do recommend his one!

Absolutely amazing. My whole butt fits on this chair and I have extra space. I feel super comfortable and I love it. It was very easy to build pretty much self explanatory. I love love love this chair. Supports my back as well and is gorgeous.

Ive had this for a few months and it holds up well! I find it personally comfortable with a lot of space. If you are a bigger person you might like this chair because of its space. The only downside is there is no arm rests but I didn’t really find that to be an issue since I rest my arms on my desk. For its price it is very worth it.

Nach der HüftOP meiner Mutter habe ich einen Stuhl für sie gesucht. Er ist ausreichend hart, vielleicht etwas zu hart, was man mit einem Kissen jedoch ausgleichen kann, höhenverstellbar und wirklich einfach aufzubauen. Aber vor allem ist die Sitzfläche nicht so tief, dass sie sich nicht anlehnen könnte.

…. bis ich ihn nun einige Wochen nutzen konnte. Ich besitze ihn seit Ende Juni. Und seit einigen Wochen merke ich schon die Platte unter dem Polster durch. Mittlerweile sitze ich wie auf einem Brett. Super schade. Bekomme davon immer wieder massive Rückenschmerzen und nutze ihn immer weniger. Absolut ungenügend… Gerade scheint es ihn auch nicht zum Kauf mehr zu geben – Wenn es den Stuhl wieder gibt, rate ich dringlichst davon ab!
