Rock-Solid Wi-Fi Without the Hassle â Worth Every Penny
I originally relied on the modem from my fiber provider for Wi-Fi, but the signal just wasnât reliableâeven with their own wired extenders. The connection kept dropping, and I was constantly troubleshooting. After replacing the modem multiple times with no improvement, I decided to let the TP-Link Archer BE6500 handle the Wi-Fiâand it was the right call. Not only does it provide strong, stable coverage across my entire home, but Iâm now getting full gigabit speeds wirelessly, which I never saw with the providerâs equipment. Setup was a breeze using the app, and the parental controls are a great bonus. I no longer need three extenders, and everything just works. For the performance and simplicity it delivers. it provide Gb speed, very reliable, this router is worth every penny.

Solid router with easy setup
Really impressed with this router! Getting about 712mbps down from iPad when Iâm in the same room and 320mbps on the other side of a 2300 sqft house. My old router was maybe giving me half of that performance. The only downside is that with 6GHz band you can tell you lose it when you are too far away from the router. Thatâs not the routers fault really thatâs just physics. Set up was really easy and it was simple to set up my IPV6 and was able to dynamically renew my lease instantly. So overall great and solid connection! The speed is really good, and doesnât run too hot. I have noticed the memory usage is also good on this router which is nice considering how I have over 40 devices connected to it at a time. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get a premium router. Price isnât the greatest but itâs a very functional and solid router.

Update June/25/2025I bought a dual 120mm fan usb 5V, placed underneath the router, it does help tons with the performance and never disconnects, i think when itâs overheating, the router disconnects from the main router wifi, so highly recommended to buy a cooling fanWhy did you pick this product vs others?:I am using it for an easymesh wireless backhaul connected to my main router Tp link ge800 which is very expensive and advanced router with 5 gigabytes fiber optic speed. The be400 is a perfect choice for easymesh. If you have 2-3 bedroom apartment, with few phones, tvs, laptops and a ring doorbell 10-15 clients you should be fine. Where i live (2 floors house) , i have 25-30 clients connected to WiFi, i dont think be400 by itself can handle that much. The range is perfect for 2-3 bedroom, not ideal for gaming since it doesnât have any gaming features. It has 2.5gbs wan and lan ports, itâs perfect for who have 1-2 gigabytes speed. I recommend BE400 over BE230 since it has lower speed and less antennas to cover. Signal strength:It covers 3 bedrooms floor, and ideally 2-3 bedrooms. Ease of setup:It took 5 mins to set it up, very easy and convenient Reliability:i have noticed it that it gets disconnected for few mins and it comes back, but that happened few times nothing really concerns me so farWifi signal:Since it is connected to my main router i get 700mb next to router to 250mb to the farthest spot on the same floor.

Worth Every $Cent$ !
I have owned a TP-Link Router for years. It still works perfectly. I recently switched to Fiber Optics and decided to upgrade. This is an outstanding router. The setup took about 1 minute after the new gateway was installed by Alta Fiber here in Reading, Ohio. I purposely moved the location of the wall mounted gateway so everything has been completed. This router is extremely fast and can carry up to 90 devices. We don’t have that many -BUT- with our tablets, smart phones, laptops, multiple 4K TV’s, WiFi audiophile systems, WiFi desktop PC, multiple WiFi Ring security cameras, WiFi stove, WiFi thermostat etc… WOW ! ! zero buffering, huge range, 6 adjustable antennas this router has everything except the third “band”. Our fiber optics comes in at just over 600mbps, this router handles it easily without any additional equipment. This is a 2 story home with a basement on a 1/4 acre. No problem! Our neighbors can “see” our router. Driving down the street a couple hundred feet my smart phone can “see” this router. For about $150 – just get this unit! You will be amazed!
