Real Comfort for Long Hours at the Desk

The Ergalithic ergonomic office chair has made a big difference in my posture and how I feel by the end of the day.The mesh is breathable, which I really appreciate on warmer days, and the lumbar support is firm yet comfortable you can tell it was designed with back care in mind. One feature I love is the flip-up armrests, which give me more freedom to move and let me get closer to my desk when needed.Itâs adjustable in several ways, so I was able to set it up just right for my workspace. Enjoying it!
I sat down on it just after it was assembled and it felt really comfortable. The chair feels solid. It swivels and rolls. It doesnât lean back or wobble like our previous desk chair which we are happy to get rid of now that we have this. The height can be adjusted easily with the lever. I like the way the back of the seat is designed – really good support for the back. All in all, a wonderful chair for our home office.

The chair was very easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and concise. The mesh is firm yet comfortable and super breathable. My old chair was leather, and I used to get a little sweaty in it. I’ve never had a problem with that in this chair. The adjustable lumbar support really dials the chair in to your specific body shape which increases comfortability and time able to be spent in chair without having to reposition all the time. Arm pads are thin and a little scratchy at first, but I don’t use them that much. Definitely recommend this chair.

Decent chair, but time will tell
I have mixed feelings about this chair, so I will start with mere facts:1) The packaging, instructions, and overall engineering seem to be first-rate. I sat down to assemble the chair, and never had to get up … that is to say EVERYTHING I needed was in the box. Also, the hex tool was much easier to use than an ordinary Allen wrench, so that was another plus.2) The assembly required the 5-leg star base to be assembled. I’ve bought many chairs, and that’s unusual since the base is usually a solid piece. In this case, the metal legs have to be bolted to a center piece. Not a big deal, but again, worth mentioning.Since this chair is marketed for up to 330lbs, I feel obliged to say … meh … I don’t trust it. I admit this is just a feeling, and perhaps I’m wrong. But I have decades of experience with office chairs to draw on, including everything from total-junk-low-end chairs to high-end chairs like Steelcase, etc. I’m WAY below the 330lb limit they claim this thing will support, but I am concerned about whether the plastic material used for the back and arm rests will last more than 3-6 months. If it breaks, rest assured that I will update this review later.Also, I think the seat cushion is a bit thin for a “big and tall” chair. And finally, I think today’s price of 160 USD is probably high … I think this chair should be priced around 100-120.
