Big Sound, Small Package
The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is a compact bluetooth speaker you can fit in the palm of your hand, but don’t let its size fool you — this thing pumps out loud, clear 360° sound with satisfyingly thumpy bass and greats mids and highs. It’s sturdy, waterproof, has a forgivingly long wireless range, and it even floats in water, making it perfect for any situation from camping trips to pool parties, or just casual listening. I like that Ultimate Ears chose a simplistic look with bold colors for these speakers, and the silicone base helps ensure that they stay put. My only gripe is that the Outdoor and Podcast EQs kind of sacrifice some clarity to push the volume in their respective directions, but the standard EQ is so rich and the speaker is so outspoken that either problem these modes attempt to solve are really non-issues, and the fact you can pair up two of these speakers for full two-channel stereo is a big plus. In addition, the regular sound signature is so clear that you can crank the volume with no noticeable distortion. I also wish you could skip back a track with the onboard controls, but doing it on your device isn’t that much of a hassle. For this price range and size, I’d say the Wonderboom 4 should be your first choice for a portable bluetooth speaker.

Survived a soak, still thumping with bass
Man, this speaker packs a punch! The Wonderboom 4 blew me away with how much bass and volume it puts out for such a small device. It has three sound modesâStandard (deep bass and loud), Outdoor (boosted volume, less bass), and Podcast (voice clarity)âand each one does its job well. I mostly kept it on Standard for that rich sound.I bought it mainly for kayaking since itâs advertised as waterproof and floatableâand it delivered. Had it playing for 5â6 hours, and it easily filled the area around my kayak (about 130 feet) with solid sound. Toward the end of the trip, I actually flipped my kayak and the speaker got fully submerged. Pulled it out, let it charge back up, and it still works perfectly. I did grab the extended warranty just to be safe, but honestly, itâs built tough.Only regret? Not buying a second one so I could pair them. This thing is a beast for the size.

The wonderboom BUMPS!!
I was looking for a smaller speaker to replace my old UE Roll 2. Based on what i read about this, and the great price on Prime Day, I can tell you this does not disappoint! For such a small speaker, this little thing BUMPS! I usually like to play some music and mostly podcasts while I work around the house. The sound is great. I am no audiophile, but this speaker certainly suits my needs. It has a minimal footprint, and it looks greatâjust the right amount of buttons for functionality. Although there isn’t an eq via an app, that’s fine with me, as I’m mostly a podcast or audiobook guy. I’m thrilled with this little speaker. I haven’t tested it outside yet, it’s too hot here in TX. Even if it weren’t a prime day deal, I’d still buy this great little speaker, given the great sound and intuitive controls. Outstanding speaker! A++

The best capable speaker to buy
This speaker connects to Bluetooth very quickly and the range is a great distance when staying connected. I absolutely love this speaker, first for its great volume like a really big speaker. Second the battery life for it playing is very long and I picked the perfect look and color. Itâs easy to function the buttons. The capability for this Bluetooth is amazing and you wonât be disappointed.

Good value, more so when on sale.
Got mine on sale from prime day. For the price (more so if on sale) it sounds amazing. I had to turn down the volume out of the box in my back yard not so annoy the neighbors.Would be nice if more devices could connect to it, or if it had airplay instead of just Bluetooth. But for the price, I’m happy with this speaker.

Beautiful speaker with clear sound!
Crystal clear sound, loud volume and very, very beautiful to the eyes. It works well in the shower, the bedroom, living room and the kitchen. The podcast mode is one of my favourites and it lasts a long time when it is played in low to medium volumes. I’m pleased with the performance. If you’re on the fence just get it! I promise you won’t regret it.

Rugged and Great Sound
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I read about this in NY Times and it was selected there as one of the best, so I saw it at a decent price and went for it. I am utterly amazed at the sound quality out of this little beast. It’s small and portable enough to take to parties, for example, but just a great way to enhance my laptop sound when I need a boost or I want to hear playlists around the house. Bluetooth makes it easy from both my phone or computer. Recommend and would buy again.

It’s basically a wonderboom 2 the only difference is the podcast mode and outdoor mode. It’s got the same sound quality and it says it lasts for up to 14 hours mine only lasted 4 hour’s total rip off. Way Overpriced just to call it a wonderboom 4 it’s definitely not.
