Reliable Connection, Great Sound, Some Design Flaws…
The essentials are there: great sound, easy & reliable pairing & connection, impressive battery life, and the distance range is very good.It is kind of bulky and heavy, which I don’t mind. It’s built like a painter’s drill. I like that it has physical buttons.My biggest complaint is that they chose a permanently attached cable with a male 3.5mm plug. I would have preferred a built-in female 3.5mm jack, in order to directly connect my wired headphones, car stereo, or powered speaker.A minor complaint is that when powering the unit down, a spoken voice says “Power Off” at a startlingly loud level.The latency is about 250 ms, which is to be expected. When playing videos, iOS compensates for this delay very effectively.
