Great bike for the price point!
I was looking for an inexpensive ebike because 1. I want to see how I feel about them and 2. I want a bike trailer to bring my pups on rides, and I’d like to not worry about if I’ll make it up a hill with the extra 50 pounds behind me. We live in an area with a lot of hills and a number of steep hills. My spouse figured for the price point, he should have one too – so we ordered two.The bikes arrived and were in great shape. It took a bit to figure out how to assemble them, but it wasn’t too terrible of a process. Definitely search the bike and assembly videos to see how others did it.Our first test ride went well, but the brakes were not functioning at a level where I felt comfortable going down big hills safely. So we had to fix the brakes a bit on both bikes. Mine needed a tightening and his needed some adjustment. We figured it out from some simple google searches.Now that the brakes are sorted, the bikes work great, and I’m more comfortable riding! I love the assist going up big hills! I mostly keep the level on 1, but for the really steep ones, I’ve gone up to level 3. So there’s some good juice, although you still have to add your own power as well. It’s just nice to get to the top of the hill and not need 5 minutes to get my breath back. For a 10 mile ride with mostly Level 1 assist but some 2 and 3 for hills, the battery was barely drained. Really impressed with the capacity, especially at this price point!As for towing, it works really well with the dog trailer I purchased. It tows the trailer with two small dogs in it easily and without any issues.

Nice looking, solid build, strong motor
My wife and I each bought one of these bikes, mine in black and hers in white. The bikes are well packed in their boxes to prevent damage. Upon removing them from the packaging, we were both impressed by the paint and finish. These are good looking bikes! Some assembly is required, but it is relatively easy, and tools are included. The individual parts include the frame with rear wheel attached, the front wheel, handlebars, seat assembly, fenders, reflector, and battery. The included written instructions were not particularly clear or helpful, but not to worry, there is an excellent video on the amazon product page that shows a step by step assembly. We simply started the video and paused after each step.Once assembled the bikes are heavy, perhaps a little heavier than I would have liked, but they are definitely sturdy. There is no guide to tire inflation pressure so I checked online and found that 35 psi is good for this type of tire and works pretty well. The folding feature works well once you figure it out. It was a little difficult at first but when you know the technique, it’s not a problem.Riding these bikes is great fun. In manual mode, the 21 speeds allow a nice wide range of effort and speed. The shift mechanisms work smoothly. Brakes are strong. It’s when you kick in the battery power that the fun really starts. In power assist mode, the motor works while you are pedaling to provide an unbelievable boost. Even on the lowest power setting, the boost was significant and the bike just takes off. In power only mode, you don’t pedal at all and the battery does all the work. Acceleration is accomplished by way of a circular throttle by the right handle grip. The power level is decent and the bike can reach good speeds on battery alone. Not sure how far or long you could ride on power alone because I haven’t used power only for extended rides.Overall, I think this is a great electric bike for the money.

For starters, this is a $700 bike. If you want a $3000 bike then spend $3000.Before a long list of caveats let me say I like this bike. But consider this:It takes about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble. Longer if you arenât mechanical. Shorter if you have done a bike before. Requires some skill. All tools are provided.The battery sits in a bag that hangs on the handlebars. ð (itâs a $700 bike.)The seat isnât very comfortable. ð Ditto on the $700. I will be changing it.The tires are suspect. The front tire was defective. It twisted upon inflation and the inner tube blew. I had to buy and install a new tube and tire. The seller reimbursed me no questions asked.I bought this bike for my wife. She is too short. As with all ebikes get the right size. My guess is you should be at least 5â5â tall for this bike. I am 6â3â and it is a bit small for me.I weigh 220 lbs and my 500 watt bike has much better power but the 350 still moves me along ok. I live on a 6 block long hill with a 3-6% grade, and this bike easily gets me up that hill with easy pedaling.Battery life is sufficient. I donât plan on anything longer than a 20 mile trip. I have yet to ride enough to check total battery life.Brakes are what I have experienced on previous bikes. Know your braking distance. I have no complaints here.The bike is foldable for travel but I have not tried it. Assume it works. It will be convenient.Bottom line. ITâS A $700 BIKE!!! Yes I expect to replace the rear tire and tube as well someday. Also the seat. But it is easy to use. 3 assist speeds.Assess all of this before purchase.I am satisfied with this bike and the seller when factoring the price.If you want a better bike, spend more money.
