Cool drone, but bad video quality
This is a pretty cool drone, its big and the 360 camera is a great feature, the problem is that since the camera quality is so bad it’s basically useless, and the drone is not stable either

Great entry level drone
This is a great budget friendly drone for somebody looking to get into the hobby. Itâs very easy to fly and very user-friendly. The camera takes good pictures. Itâs very stable and goes very far

has camera but my devices couldnt find the drone to pair it
well, my first flight and none of my devices can find the drone in the list so no camera footage. sigh. The drone is nice and big and looks cool but mine has a mind of its own. when i first took off to hover, the drone hovered for a minute then i tried to take it a little bit away and and press return to home but it went straight up into the air, i tried to bring it back down but it went higherup and then over my roof and flew away into a tree.it came wih spare props so i installed those and tried again and think the return to home need reprogramming or something. Without the app i have no access to camera footage and i cant use the app if i cant connect to the drone. if i cant experience flying by using the camera on this drone, then my motivation to fly it is gone. And to think i waited until i was fully compliant to take, what i thought would be my favorite drone, into he sky, only to be disappointed. Im scared if i fly it, it will fly away from me and be lost. maybe mine was defective

Good For Practice Drone Flying
Decent drone for kids/teens to fly around or practice on that has a 1080p full HD aerial camera that can be controlled with remote control. The drone has 1-button automatic take off/landing with different speed settings that can fly up to 1000ft range. It only comes with 1 rechargeable battery that slides into the drone but it only lasts about 10 minutes of flight time which isnât so great. The remote control has a cell phone holder that connects to the phone on an app to view what the drone seeâs. I would say itâs an ok drone to practice on since the short flying time & the price could be more affordable even given the Vivitar brand.

FAA required “remote ID” not included, poor quality camera.
I’m a little surprised at the five star reviews for this one. Have they ever flown drones before? I’m a retired electronics technician, who at this point has reviewed and flown many drones, from simple indoor toy drones to my DJI Min4 Pro. At this price point, currently $130, it does fly, and does have GPS, which is why I give it at least 3 stars. However, there are many reasons NOT to choose this one.First of all, given that it is well over that 249g FAA limit, you need a Remote ID module to legally fly it. Many of the higher end drones have this built in, like many Holy Stone drones do. This one does not. They are available online for around $40-50, so right off the bat, this is now the better part of $200 drone before you can legally get it off the ground.Secondly, the camera is barely adequate. They advertise 1080p, but the actual pics and vids are more like 720p, much grainier and a big difference. Also, unlike many drones even below this price point, the camera itself can not be moved once you’re airborne. You set that position before take off and you’re stuck with that till you land. The pic and vid quality is about the same level as the plethora of under $50 “toy” drones that have a cam.Thirdly, and for me personally the biggest negative is that they only include one battery that doesn’t last more than 10-12 minutes. Given how heavy this drone is, I can understand why it can’t last more than that. However then at least include a second battery. With this one, once you’ve flown it for 10 minutes the fun is over for couple of hours while you charge the battery. That’s not my idea of fun.Bottom line. This is a huge heavy drone that is outclassed in several ways by less expensive alternatives. The fit and finish is “toy-like”. Having reviewed and flown many drones, I can’t recommend this one. Take that $200 and get a sub-249g GPS drone with a better camera, one that can be adjusted during flight, and one that has at least two batteries giving you at least 20-30 minutes total flying time.

Great value for the money with this drone!
This is not a $1000 drone, so your expectations need to be much less. However, for what this is, it does a great job. And the camera quality is much better than expected at this price point. Honestly, this is one of the better priced drones for the quality and capabilities. I used this to inspect my roof and it did a great job.

HUGE Caveat
I won’t beat around the bush and will get right to it…I was unaware before ordering that this size/weight drone actually requires an FAA license to fly it. These apparently cost about fifty bucks to acquire, which is almost HALF of the cost of this drone, thus significantly increasing the cost overall. That was enough for me to decide that I won’t be flying this. I have only ever owned one other drone, a very small non brand name model that I’ve actually had a ton of fun with. I was hoping to graduate to a larger model with a better camera but unfortunately it will not be with this one.I apologize for not being able to offer more thoughts on the actual use and features of the drone. If they would have mentioned in the description that you would need to purchase a license to fly this legally I would not have ordered it. Since it was not specifically mentioned, and that is frankly not information that beginning drone operators (who are the target market for this drone) such as myself will know, I feel the 2 star review here is fair. I can’t use this without putting out significantly more money and I’m just not willing to do that.
