Built Like a Weapon
This vertical monitor stand is just what I was looking for. I have limited space on my desk and needed to fit a new monitor on it, but I didnât want to spend too much money on a monitor stand, but i do not like sacrificing reliability to save a couple bucks.This monitor stand does its job perfectly. If youâre looking for a standalone adjustable monitor stand that lets you adjust your monitors easily, then look elsewhere and prepare to spend more money, but if youâre just looking for a cheap and durable standalone vertical monitor stand, then this is the one for you.Let me start with the pros.- The most obvious one is the price. This thing is well priced for what the quality.- Weight Limit. Iâm sure youâve read reviews of how people put their ultrawide monitors on this thing and they work fine. Why? Because this thing is made completely out of metal and is extremely sturdy. Do not think that this thing is lightweight, it is heavy and will support whatever monitor you put on it.- Stability. No, like seriously, this thing is basically anchored to the table. If you live in an area prone to earthquakes, you probably donât have to worry too much about this thing falling over.-Durability. While I covered this a bit in another pro, I really need to emphasize that this thing is built like a weapon. You could probably accidentally make a hole in the wall or your door if you arenât careful during assembly or if youâre moving the whole thing. It consists of two heavy metal rods that you could probably use to bash someoneâs head in, so if youâre a little clumsy, be careful with it.Allen Wrenches. You need three differently sized Allen wrenches to assemble this thing, but worry not, because it brings all 3 with it!Cable Management. The stand brings two cable management circular things to manage your cables, with the very much appreciated added bonus of being able to hold your Allen wrenches! How cool is that!Now with the cons.Range of Motion. Now this may be a big turnoff for some people, but if you at all want to adjust the position of one of your monitors, youâll need to pull out the Allen wrenches and do a bit of work. However, you can avoid this completely if you just put the monitors in a position right for you in the first place!Assembly. As I mentioned before, these parts are all metal, and as a result may be rather difficult to assemble all together. In general, itâs recommended that you assemble this thing with another person to make things easier, but I did it alone. Now, it can certainly be done if you have the time and are willing to get some blisters on your hands from all of the twisting of allen wrenches that youâll have to do, but, at least for me, the process was pretty difficult and time-consuming. Prepare to take some time assembling this beast.Thatâs all! Overall, Iâm extremely happy with this vertical monitor stand and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable stationary vertical monitor stand that you donât have to worry will ever fall over.

It works okay for small light monitors 24-27. Nothing past that as it sags and tilts down, it has plastic pieces that move around even if you fully tighten everything down. Not worth the buy unless you have small monitors and don’t care if it feels secure.

I was a bit worried when I bought it cause I’m using 2 large 16×9 displays at 32″ and 28″ respectively but I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy it is. the assembly process is straight forward and can be done in 20 minutes. The quick release mounting brackets makes it easy to take apart and move around. Cable management was great and you can store all the tools on the mount itself so you don’t lose them

I just got it set up. It’s really not that difficult to assemble as long as you have some common sense. It’s really sturdy and holds my 32″ monitors up with ease.You can really adjust them to any height along the pole. I personally like my monitor very low to the base, and you can do that with this arm. You can even have the monitor touching the base if that’s what you want.I also like how you can rotate them in any orientation. If you want it at portrait, no problem. If you want it to tilt up or tilt down, easy. If you want turn it left or right, also possible. The only thing you can’t do is shift it to the left or right. For that you would have to get the model with the arms obviously.I also like how they have different types of arms. You can mix and match them to suit exactly the setup that you need.I saw some reviewers mention that the base is too big. Personally, I don’t think it’s big at all. Maybe if you have a really thin desk. In my opinion, it needs to be big because it’s supporting the weight of your monitors. If they had a thin base, the thing would just tip over. The base sticks out about 5″ in front of the monitor. If that space is an issue for you, then it might be better to get the clamp mount or the one where you have to put a hole through the desk.

The stand is quite sturdy and both monitors can be adjusted to any height one on top of the other without touching each other. As the stand does not have arms, it takes up very space behind the monitor, which is ideal for me since my desk is against the wall. Very happy with the purchase.
