Sturdy and Easy to Install
The metal construction is nice and sturdy and gave me the confidence it could hold my PC, even though other mounts say they can hold the weight I just felt better about a metal one. Easy to install and comes with a template to help pre-drill the holes which saved a bunch of time. Also like the height adjustment options, they worked well for my PC.

Pilot holes are important / Overall? Great. Sturdy.
The mount is fantastic when you get it installed. You’ll be really very happy with it. Looks great, it’s sturdy, I have no fears of my desktop falling out. The installation was a little bit…frustrating, and likely would have been much easier if I had another set of hands, but it’s doable alone. If you’re installing it where there are no pre-drilled pilot holes, do yourself a favor and drill some. There’s a template that matches perfectly so alignment is not an issue. The frustrating part for me was setting the set screws properly, I think my mount might have gotten tweaked a tiny bit, and it’s likely my fault because I didn’t install it the day I got it. You might need a hand with it though, on a scale of 1 to 5 the install is probably 3 beards difficult. 1 with a helper (and the helper doesn’t need a beard)

Sturdy structure, good size variance, do not recommend using included screws
Decent value, frame feels very sturdy and allows most mid or smaller towers to fit comfortably.Do *not* recommend using the included screws, they look to be 1/2 to 3/4″ screws and I would *not* trust my device to that, especially with most modern desks being some form of particle board. I ended up using 1.5″ bolts with washers and nuts, drilling through the desk (particle board) to safely mount it. Probably overkill, but I don’t have to worry about the frame pulling free.Relatively easy construction, accounting for the 3rd party mounting bolt solution.

Got this to replace the Uplift CPU mount because my new case was too big and heavy. It seems sturdy and has been great so far. I used a little bit of foam tape to protect the glass on the tape but otherwise it does its job perfectly. I also tried the Humanscale version but this is way sturdier. Mountable on an Uplift 4 leg desk.

Installation is decently easy, but the provided template to drill holes was off center from the actual mount. Even though I triple checked my drill hole alignment with the template, one of the holes was off center and was partially covered by the mount.As you can imagine, this made a big difference because the screw would barely go in, and when it did, it was tilted at an angle. The strength of the mount is almost definitely compromised, and it isn’t as simple as re drilling the hole because that would just widen it and then you wouldn’t be able to screw into it.Otherwise, installation was simple.
