VIZIO 24-inch D-Series 720p Smart TV with Apple AirPlay and Chromecast Built-in, Alexa Compatibility, D24h-J09, 2021 Model

Tv was broken
So I ordered two of these TVs on prime days so I was excited to receive them. Delivery guy put damaged side of box against wall and I didn’t notice right away. Ordered for my mom who was moving in. Her room wasn’t ready so I told driver to just put box against the wall. He put the damaged side of box which by the way was very noticeable against the wall where it stayed for a couple of weeks until moms room was ready. Took box to her room noticed damage took tv from box whole screen was shattered. I was in a panic because that’s a lot of money to me. Although it was a great deal. Contacted customer service. Could only receive refund of my money but I wanted to exchange. Was notified that no exchanges were possible as they were now out of the TVs I purchased in the same size which was 43 inch. So received refund fairly easily. Also sent to package store where returning the item was fairly easy. Which I appreciated. I did purchase same television in a bigger size and I am completely in love with this tv. My mom is elderly & it makes it so easy for her to find the programs she likes to watch. Also super easy because it’s voice activated so she just has to tell Alexa what she’s liked to watch. She can change programs, turn the volume up or down and also turn tv off just by speaking to Alexa. Only downside. My grandkids lost the remote at Christmas when they were visiting and we were unable to turn tv on until we purchased a new remote through Amazon which wasn’t cheap. While I love almost everything about this tv. Ie, it’s easy for myself and elderly mother to work as long as we have a remote to turn it on. No buttons for when it’s lost. Also has about everything you can think of installed in it. So no need for external fire stick or Roku & print is large enough for us that have vision loss to see. Easily setup especially for someone like me who is technologically challenged. First tv in years I have setup without having to beg my kids or someone else to setup. Don’t have to worry about resetting the remote because myself or my elderly mother messed it up. Only thing it doesn’t have that I know of is a built in find my remote. Although in fairness it may have and I haven’t figured that out yet. I would recommend you buy this tv and only this tv if you like to have advanced technology but are challenged like me.I really thought I’d never be able to set up a tv ever again because technology is most of the time way over my head. Also the volume is great!! My son and grandson both have profound hearing loss and could easily hear with this tv, whereas with others you turn them up to max and because of the buzzing at that level you can’t make out what’s being said anyway. My only regret is I didn’t get to keep the 43 inch for moms room and they were out. Also make sure you get the remote keeper or some extra add on to help find it when it’s gone missing so you don’t have to spend a third of what you paid for the whole television. Definitely recommend this brand absolutely made watching tv an enjoyable event in my house again!!

Turns off the screen to dark on its own. Terrible TV. Zero support.
Worked great for two years. Now the screen dims to dark on its own while I’m using it. I’ll never purchase another Vizio. Garbage, terrible warranty and a waste of money. Amazon won’t have anything to do with you when you attempt to ask a question and troubleshooting is basic and worthless. A tv should last longer than two measly years!

Great picture, not so great sound.
I purchased this set to replace a smaller kitchen tv. This was a discounted open box tv that looks like new.The only thing I noticed is that one of the HDMI ports had been renamed. I have cable and connect it to an Arris cable box. The tv had issues connecting to the cable box, sometimes failing to connect. After switching HDMI ports and cables the problem continued. Researching the problem, a forum recommended switching the startup option from eco mode to quick startup, which has corrected the problem so far.A small pair of USB speakers greatly improved sound.

The 3 stars are for the seller NOT the product. The TV is crap, looks good but works very poorly.
I have a Vizio TV in the bedroom, it’s easily 15 years old AND IT works better now than this one did strait outta the box. That’s enough of an illustration of the decline in the quality of their product for me to say I will never buy a Vizio again. The start up, changing channels or inputs are all painfully slow. OK, so it’s slow. But now, that problem has morphed into a shutoff issue. Sometimes you shut it off and the picture goes black, but the audio keeps going. Then, the remote won’t turn it back on or finish killing it off or turn it down. It usually takes a minute or two for that part of the TV to realize that the rest of the TV has turned off. Poorly engineered garbage.

Tv pour la cuisine format parfait belle qualité

Esperaba que en el menu principal me mostrara las aplicaciones, pero desafortunadamente me muestra la pantalla de SmartCast no disponible en Mexico.Para acceder a sus aplicaciones tienes que decargar la aplicacion de VIZIO en el celular lo cual es un poco molesto. Teniendo el control a la mano y no poder acceder a sus muchas aplicaciones que trae instalados.La calidad de la imagen es muy buena, el sonido tambien. Si algun dia llegan arreglar eso del smartcast le dare 5 estrellas.

La TV como tal no es un SMARTV, es un monitor con el cual puedes compartir contenido vía Chromecast o alguna aplicación similar, pero por sí solo no lo permite, cuando menos no en México
