Very Happy With This Vizio TV!
This is a great TV. Easy to set up. Great picture and easy to use. There is only one problem and I found the remote control totally inadequate. I really like the remote for my other Vizio TV. âï¸ ZdalaMit New XRT112 Remote Control fit forVizio Smart Internet LED TV with Netflix/iHeart Radio/Amazon Prime keys.Also has fast forward, play, pause, and reverse keys handy for movies etc.Update: I bought this TV on July 30 2019 and it works as well now (March 27 2022) as it did when it was brand new. This was an excellent purchase and I highly recommend the Vizio TV.

perfect for my guest bedroom
I literally unboxed this, plugged it in, and started watching. What a breeze! Great picture, easy intuitive controls,works alone or with my fire stick, and with the sleep timer is absolutely perfect for my guest room. I’ve had friends and family like it so much they’ve gone to buy one for their bedooms. I love this little lightwight high performingtv!

Limitation on the Apps you can load.
Just got this little TV in 24″ model, Vizio D24f. I checked the box and website to assure that it is 1080p, it is. The picture is excellent! Small screen adds to high quality images, and the Menu has many options for Gaming, Cinema, Vivid, etc.The Audio is so-so, its a small unit so small sound. BUT, I’, seeing it right in front of me as a second sports screen, and its no issue. Note: the Menu has equalizer at FLAT out of the box, but it has other settings, such as Dynamic, so be sure to et in the Audio portion of the Menu and adjust it. I thought about a soundbar, but additional accessories and such are not my objective. Portable, fun, extra screen for streaming is my goal.The major limitation is that you cannot download your own Apps to the TV or to the Vizio app. For example, I subscribe to NHL, MLB, and NFl. On my Firestick, I can download the official apps and can control the whole deal with my Firestick remote. I thought I could do the same with this Chromecast enabled small TV…nope. My brother has a 75″ Google enabled TV and it does download the apps. Soooo, I have to watch the sports subscriptions by Chromecast streaming from my phone or iPad…an extra step. I wish I could add apps to this TV. The only apps it has are the ones that come with it, such as Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Crackle, etc. No Spotify, Pandora, sports, etc. Know this in advance.It is the only small TV that I could find with two HDMI ports. I might add a Firestick, but for now are simply chrome casting.I really do like this TV. Many reviewers have documented failures of the TV over time, and I will update if that happens to me. The picture quality is stupendous, the audio is acceptable (if sitting within 10 feet of the TV and after adjusting the Audio setting in menu), and the Chromecasting works but with limitations on Apps. Not bad for a TV I take out on big sports days and put in the closet when not in use. Lightweight and easily stored. Enjoy!

This TV has been a mess since we bought it last year. It inconsistently works. Often needs to be unplugged and replugged. It doesn’t pair with any other remotes. The remote it came with stopped working and is very cheap. The update downloads are like an old computer and interrupt whatever you’re doing.I’ve never seen a television that was so poorly built.Only thing I had luck with for a little while was the remote on my phone. But the TV doesn’t like to work with the internet and requires a remote to be able to update the internet. There are no buttons on the TV to get to the menu. So this is basically just a monitor.

Itâs a decent kitchen TV, but really nothing much else. Picture quality is good, it has various calibration settings for the colors so you can adjust it to taste. It has WiFi (2.4GHz only) and Ethernet for connectivity. I use it on WiFi and it works well enough. If your WiFi environment is very busy (like an apartment), get something that supports 5GHz.The built-in chrome cast works well and responds reasonably quickly to inputs. The YouTube app is functional, if a little sluggish, like the other apps. Contrary to the suggestion on the box, you can NOT install additional apps on the TV. The 1000+ apps on the box is a misleading statement referring to apps you can use to chrome cast to the TV, not apps you can install on it.The sound is passable, but barely. There is no bass at all, very tinny. To be expected with such a tiny speaker but necessary to mention regardless. Works fine for casual use, but not to relax and watch a movie with.

Good quality tv, however please be advised, as another reviewer has described, the item is -not- exactly as shown. The rear panel is different than displayed in the product overview, and this can cause issues for consumers who aren’t prepared. The manual and documentation is for the TV displayed, sort-of-not the one shipped.. but under most circumstances in today’s consumer environment, this will not be an issue for most people.Cons:The Smartcast menu seems a little sluggish when loading, and the Hulu app won’t even fully load (however, I’m Canadian, so Hulu is a useless brick anyway and not a sell-point for the purchase). Also, for anyone wall mounting, or display mounting the tv, be advised, that the power cable does directly into the centre lower-middle of the tv.. it’s fully mountable, but if you have a vertical stand, the post may cause issues depending on the angle you prefer to set your tv at.Pros:The tv is full HD 1080p, and has wireless and Ethernet capability. The tv wirelessly connected flawlessly to my older router, and you can rename the HDMI ports in the tv for easier identification/remembering of what-you-plugged-where. Quite light and easy to reposition. Also, contrary to some of the price-complaints, this is actually a good deal for us Canadians.. Best Buy doesn’t even seem to carry this model in my area, and the next non-sale comparison was well over $250, and 720p.If the HD ‘version’ (720 vs 1080) doesn’t matter to you, you can probably get a better deal on a 720p tv, and it would possibly be even larger.. but I was seeking a 1080 tv below 27″, and couldn’t find a better deal than this. Have owned the tv less than 48 hours at time of review.

I’ll admit this was my first smart TV and I had no idea what I was in for. As a TV it seemed fine. As a smart TV, expecting to be able to watch apps like Youtube, Twitch, and Crunchyroll like I do on my phone it’s a failure.The Youtube app would start to lag after a few videos. Not internet lag, but system lag. Most apps like Twitch and Crunchyroll must be casted from your phone. There were issues like not being able to select the right aspect ratio with some of these apps. Netflix seemed okay, but I only used it for a bit. I really wanted to be able to watch Youtube.

Great TV.. worth every dollar. Great picture, volume and sound good but I would get a sound bar for better sound.Just a couple of issues:- Its slow to boot up and slow to load the smart app page.- I don’t like the fact that I need to buy an adapter to get the composite devices working but maybe most people don’t need it.- The shape of the remote makes it want to slip out of your hands. I wish there were more tactile queues for the different buttons.- The biggest annoyance is that I can’t edit apps I want to see on the smart page…Even with all these problems its still a good small TV if your looking for one..

For this price point I am very happy with this product. It serves as a kitchen TV that I have minted to the wall. The smart features and wifi work exceptional as well and I can turn off and on the tv with my google home since Chromecast is built in. Picture is great too, not as bright perhaps as I would have liked but still looks good. One downside are the hdmi ports that are at the back, would have been nice to have them on the side so you can mount it flush. Very happy nevertheless

I just want to set it up so I can use the remote control and watch stations which are available to me where ever I am. This seems to be a different way to watch Tv with this unit. Can’t quite figure out how to do this. This is the main reason I bought this Unit. But if there is a way I can, in addition to watching regular TV, watch other programming I would appreciate this. But I need some explaining how this would work
